We visited the place reading all the good reviews but it eas a sad state of affairs. None of the rides were working as they said there was some paper work issue with respect to the contract undertaken. My mother needed wheelchair facility, when we requested the person at office has been very cordial but the guard who was told to bring the wheelchair was the most arrogant, rude person ww came across. He said he won't bring it is not his job. He will show the place and we take it if we want. We took the wheelchair from the storeroom nearby, he didnt even clean it. It was sooo dusty. He said its brand new, just that no one has used it. When asked for cleaning, he gave an already dirty & torn piece of cloth. The wheelchair was veey rusty and the pathway is not a whellchair friendly one too. This was not a pleasant entry. The place needs a lot of cleaning and maintenance. The grasses were not trimmed either. It was as if we paid to see garbage. (Pics included)

I went to this place alone just for the ambience and I found it to be quiet fruitful. I even watched a movie in out of the shades they made to sit or lie down for rest. Really good place for parents and children to play. They have made the roads inside to simulate roads outside for children to cycle which is available at 24rs for 30 minutes. There is no water in the swimming pool but who needs that. I would still give it a 5 star. There were also couples having their "they" time which they are doing it away from the area where children usually play(lol).It's a quiet big area. So if you have children make sure they stay towards the middle of the park.

The Children's Park in Asramam is a perfect place for a evening hang out with children. Situated at Asramam, this park is one of the major attractions of Kollam city. The park has facilities such as Open-air Auditorium,Swimming pool,Gymnasium, Shopping stalls,Toilet block&Restroom complex. This park is also called as Children’s Traffic Park. Entry Fee: Adults-Rs24 Children -Rs12 Timings -10.00AM - 08.00PM Cycles and Fun rides such as Duck boat,Giraffe Train ride,Sun-Moon wheel,Battery cars are available here for making kids happy& more enjoyable.

I am really sad to say that the park is not maintained. The park look like abandoned after a war. Almost all the rides are kept wrapped with rags and whole park having lots of bushes which are not even cleared for long time. Our kids had fun and happy coz of the slides and the only working children's express (train-also in rested condition). Who ever the custodian of the park, I have a humble request, please maintain it properly and many children will be having fun (other than smart phone) and their parents too.

Not much activities for children. Entry tickets for Adults and childrens which is value for Money. It's just a mini park with small play area. There are more adults visitors then childrens. And they totally occupying the play area which is meant for childrens. The play area is not. Maintained well and most of them are unsafe for kids. Local park play areas are better here. Except the trees and entry fee nothing special for kids.

Nice park to enjoy with kids. Main attractions are there is a track for bicycle and bicycles are getting on hourly rate for all age kids. There is a swimming pool with trainer availble for teaching swimming. Rides like jumping frog, train, shaft cars and other rotating things really kids will enjoy. Nice place tobsit and relax for parents. Fee: Entry fee 25 Rs for adults and 15 for child & each ride has 25 - 35 Rs rate.
