Marari Beach - A Tranquil Paradise by the Sea I recently had the pleasure of visiting Marari Beach, and I must say it was an enchanting and unforgettable experience. Nestled along the pristine coastline of Kerala, India, Marari Beach offers a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's a place where you can truly unwind, rejuvenate your senses, and connect with nature. One of the first things that struck me about Marari Beach was its untouched beauty. The beach stretches for miles, adorned with soft, golden sands and framed by swaying palm trees. The azure waters of the Arabian Sea gently lap against the shore, creating a soothing soundtrack that instantly relaxes you. Whether you're lounging on a sunbed, taking a leisurely stroll, or simply enjoying the breathtaking sunset, the serenity and natural beauty of Marari Beach are unmatched. What sets Marari Beach apart from other coastal destinations is its commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism. The local community takes great pride in preserving the natural environment and promoting eco-friendly practices. The beach is immaculately clean, with no litter or pollution in sight. The resorts and accommodations in the area also follow eco-friendly practices, blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Accommodation options at Marari Beach cater to a variety of preferences and budgets. From luxury resorts to boutique hotels and homestays, there's something for everyone. During my stay, I opted for a traditional cottage nestled amidst lush greenery. It provided a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm, allowing me to immerse myself in the local culture and experience the warm hospitality of the people. One of the highlights of my visit was interacting with the friendly locals. The people of Marari Beach are incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to share their stories, traditions, and delicious cuisine. I had the opportunity to savor authentic Kerala dishes, bursting with flavors and aromatic spices. The seafood, in particular, was a culinary delight, freshly caught from the sea and expertly prepared by talented chefs. For those seeking more than just relaxation, Marari Beach offers a plethora of activities to keep you engaged. You can embark on a backwater cruise, exploring the intricate network of canals and lagoons that Kerala is famous for. The nearby villages provide a glimpse into the local way of life, with traditional arts and crafts, Ayurvedic treatments, and yoga retreats available for those seeking holistic wellness experiences. Marari Beach is also an excellent base for exploring the rich cultural heritage of Kerala. From ancient temples and historic sites to vibrant festivals and performances, the region has a lot to offer. The staff at the resorts and local tour operators are always ready to assist in planning your excursions, ensuring you make the most of your time in this enchanting destination. In conclusion, Marari Beach is a hidden gem that truly captures the essence of a peaceful coastal retreat. With its untouched natural beauty, commitment to sustainability, warm hospitality, and a range of activities to suit all tastes, it offers a complete and immersive experience for travelers. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo escape, Marari Beach is the perfect destination to unwind, reconnect with nature, and create lasting memories.

Good facilities and easily accessible. Good tourist spot. I was able to see the crowd even during noon time . Can enjoy the breeze and watch the sea. Marari beach is a beautiful destination located in the Mararikulam village of Alappuzha District in Kerala. This serene beach is known for its pristine white sand, clear blue waters, and tranquil atmosphere. One of the first things that caught my eye at Marari beach was the stunning natural beauty of the surroundings. The beach was lined with swaying palm trees, which added to the tropical paradise feel of the place. The gentle sound of the waves crashing against the shore was soothing, and I found myself feeling relaxed and at peace as I walked along the shore. I was also impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the beach. The local authorities have done a great job of keeping the beach clean and free of litter, which made for a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I was able to relax on the sand without having to worry about stepping on trash or debris, which is unfortunately common at many beaches. In addition to the natural beauty of the beach, I also had the opportunity to interact with the friendly locals of Mararikulam village. They were warm and welcoming, and I learned a lot about the local culture and customs during my time at the beach. I also enjoyed sampling some delicious local cuisine, including fresh seafood dishes that were cooked right on the beach. Overall, my experience at Marari beach was unforgettable. The combination of natural beauty, cleanliness, and hospitality made it a truly special place to visit. I would highly recommend Marari beach to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in Kerala. I hope to visit again in the future and continue to enjoy all that this beautiful destination has to offer.

Marari Beach is the best beach in Alleppey. A true beach feel with the coconut trees around there and relaxing chairs. Stunning view of the sea, much more beautiful than the Alleppey beach with clean blue waters. Neat and well-maintained beach, one can enjoy both sunrise and sunset views. If you need relaxing chairs there you need to pay. We can even get into water up to some extent as waves are not that high. It is peaceful and less crowded, providing an ideal spot to enjoy nature and take long walks. Even with a lot of people, you won't feel it to be crowded as there are no fun activities being done here and mostly it's not crowded. Nearby shops offer snacks, ice cream, and other essentials, adding convenience to your beach visit. The beach is clean, making it suitable for a comfortable day out. Resorts and homestays nearby offer a convenient stay for those looking to extend their visit. You can find a few sunbeds available here, and beach umbrellas and chairs are available for rent at an hourly rate of INR 100. While situated in Cherthala, it is around 15 kilometres from Alleppey, providing an accessible option for those in the area. This area is magical. You really feel like you're being embraced by a community of people who know one another, are with their families, and treat you as a part of their lives for all of your stay - the tuk tuk drivers, the homestay owners, the shop owners, the cafe people... Its such a beautiful place, filled with birds and animals, peaceful, beach clean-ups being run, and I hope it remains as unspoilt as possible in this world of increasing tourism. To remove any of the nature for more roads or buildings would be a travesty.
