Golf Green Central Park — Attraction in Kolkata

Once the entire Golf Green area was a part of golf course of Royal Calcutta Golf Club. In early 80's this area was developed as township. And the centre of the township Golf Green Central Park was planned. This is the biggest Park in the area. Green tea of place for children. It is a nice park for nearby people for morning walk and basic body exercises. I am not sure but the park has almost a 400 to 500 meter circumference. It is a well maintained greenery place which has a free entry. There is a special zone for senior citizens and a free as well paid Gym centre. Overall good for morning and evening activities for all age groups. Local people organise a nice colour event on the day of Dol festival (a day before Holi) in the park.
