Nice, cosy little place tucked in a nook opposite Vijaygarh Thakur Bari.

Seating arrangement both in AC interior and an outside porch where smoking is allowed. Lighting is dim yet adequate.

In the entire time my girlfriend and I were there, we had Chocolate Chai, Fried Sausage, BBQ Tikka Sandwich, Chilli Cheese French Fries and Peach Iced Tea. Every dish was delicious and conveyed quality.

The price is in the mid range, neither too high nor too low.

The staff is kind of indifferent, which I prefer to jolly strangers coming up with smiles.

There was music playing inside, the choice of which cost them 1 star for me personally. Otherwise great place, I will go back here again.

P.s - I had to share the photo of the Chilli Cheese French Fries. Served beautifully. Kudos.

Overall experience wasn't bad. But for those who will choose this place as pocket friendly, I will recommend them not to opt. for Add ons. Like if one likes to order Coffee frappe that is 99, they will ask you whether u like it with ice cream or without, with ice cream it will. Cost 30 extra, then they will ask u again whether u like with chocolate sauce or not, again that choco sauce will cost you another 30. That means the 99 become 159. But I didn't find the Add ons worthy.. similarly if you order sandwich, say chicken mayonnaise sandwich they will offer extra cheese at 30 extra. Obviously you will opt. For it. But you will hardly feel the difference. In conclusion don't calculate the estimated price from Menu card. Otherwise...

Lately visited the place - Okish ambience compared to other cafes in southern Kolkata. Standard expected food service. What we didn't feel right as Customer, they add GST on top of the values shown on Menu card without notifying the visitors. We felt, they're over charging in the name of GST. It's a criminal offence by not clearly disclosing the item price or not notifying the end user clearly before getting the order. We have visited number of cafes where this GST thing was not an issue.
