Manas Lake — Attraction in Maharashtra

One of the best places in Pune to have chill morning walk or evening walk. But will recommend it 60-40 for good sunsets, peace, cool breeze and even safety too.

It's pretty big lake and you can not walk a full circle but every angal has it's own view to mesmerise you.

To make it short will say "visit & explore & you will love it". Just take care of proper timings.

This is my one of the favorite location in Pune's short stays since it is a walkable distance from our second home and have visited in all seasons.

On the minus sides . . . Why people make it dirty? "Party Karo but Please Please don't throw your garbage around"🙏🏽.

Though drinking is prohibited and warning boards are there people, (people from educated city of Pune) who are spoiling mother nature and that hurts.

Required more efforts to make this place sustainably beautiful.

Last but not least you have many garden restaurants good options to booze out, hang out as a young crowd.

Manas Lake is a great place to hang out with friends family etc when in special occasions because it is a very good restaurant right within a lake. You will be able to feel the lake and its air as you walk on the foot overbridge made by the restaurant on the lake. There are also water sports like motor cycling, sight view boat, motor boat riding etc. If you are lucky you will be able to see some movie or serial shooting (local ones- marathi) in the site in some afternoon times. The location is on the way towards Lavasa from Pune City which goes through chandni chowk on the Paid road. It is in place called as Bhukum or Bhugaon. There are public transport available here.
