Sow — Restaurant in Maharashtra

This was the first time i visited this place along with my siblings. Check the pics for a basic idea about the place. Ambiance - The place place stands next to a lake. The layout is planned systematically to cater the needs of different groups and the type of atmosphere they want. By evening the place lights up beautifully. So its better to go there late in the evening. Food - Ordered Hookah with Urban delight flavour, Fizzy florida & Summer lady in mocktails, Chivas Regel and Shiraz red wine (you wont get any other brands for wine here) followed by Schezwan fingers, Prawns koliwada, Chilli potatoes & Crispy Chicken for starters, then followed only by triple fried rice as we were already full. Service - Its good that guys were frequently changing the coal on top of the hookah. Once the place gets crowded then the orders reach your table a bit late and sometimes you have to enquire about this to the waiters. All the staff were polite and well mannered. Advice - The music track wont be changed before 9.30 pm even if you ask for it a couple of times , staff there says the dj has left n will be back in a few minutes ,the second time you ask they say that the music will be changed only after 9.30. That was really frustrating. Smoke on the water reconsider this. Overall - A good place.. will visit there again, food was delicious , hookah maintenance was quick but hope they will rethink about the music policy...

People who by default go to Sarovar (that is right opposite and much more famous than this place) should give this a try. After discovering this place, I have stopped going to Sarovar as there is always waiting, the service is slow and bad, it's costly and less tidy. On the other end, smoke on the water is more pocket friendly with much faster service and the food/sheesha are good. Obviously the biggest USP is the location and the deck on the lake. Overall, it's worth travelling 15-20 kms from the city to spend an evening out here.

There are three major reasons to come here:

1. PRICE: Sheesha is just 400, food is also great and priced average, despite of being lower on pocket, the crowd is not cheap and place is tidy.
2. SERVICE: Unexpectedly great service, right from the staff at entrance to the guy who changes coal, the waiters are amazingly trained, polite and helpful.
3. LOCATION: It adjoins the lake, also has a ramp that lets you literally walk on the lake. An extremely beautiful environment. Despite of it's open set-up near the lake, I experienced zero mosquitoes.

Other than the above mentioned major points, the rest is also good. Food tastes great, sheesha is made good, has a stage/dance floor, although it gets awkward since there is no dedicated...

Being a piscean I am always partial to choose a place near to water. It takes me to a different level of satisfaction. And when that place is made so comfortable and tastefully done I can spend whole day. The cherry on the cake was the food and the service. The staff here is very courteous. The atmosphere is perfect to have a happening evening. With good music and laser lights the dancefloor keeps one inviting. An ideal place to party with friends on weekends. As I said food is good so is the pricing. I found it reasonable. They do have some selfie spots where one can pose to get some good pics 😊😀 The most interesting part is the sit outs which are literally on the water. They also have boating till evening. And the deck for your special celebration is the highlight. Again in water.. filled with candles and balloons , chilled champagne to accompany with some fabulous food.
