Om Sai Ram This is a place of peace & happiness.Once you step this pious place all your sorrows & sufferings disappear. You can actually feel Sai baba's presence in shirdi. The best thing about this place is people from all religions come together to pray. As baba used to say' sabka malik ek'. All humans are equal in front of God ,all are treated equally whether rich or poor. I have been to shirdi many times but still whenever i go there it feels new.Devotees have made arrangements that all get Babas darshan Jai Sainath for everything you have given me. This is a haven for Sai devotees. The presence of Baba after almost a century after he left his body is extremely palpable. The whole Mandir complex is very well managed, organised and looked after considering the multitude of crowd that visits the temple on a daily basis. To stand in front of Baba's shrine after the long wait in the queues is worth all the effort. One feels truly blessed and the connection is strengthened till the next visit. An important advise for the visitors...kindly book your darshan in advance on Sansthan's official website before reaching Shirdi. The online process is very simple. It cuts down the waiting time significantly and the money you are paying towards it is like a donation towards the Seva which the Sansthan is doing on such a large scale. (This is a personal view). Else.... Free biometric darshan passes are available from Sansthan's pass counters round the clock to have Baba's darshan. Just ask outside gate No. 1. Secondly Mobiles are strictly prohibited inside the Mandir complex. There is a Mobile cloak room just outside the mandir where in you can deposit your mobiles @ Rs 5 each. Very simple hassle...

On another occasion, Baba reportedly said that the fakir's wife had left him in the care of a Hindu guru, Venkusa of Selu and that he had stayed with Venkusa for 12 years as his disciple. This dichotomy has given rise to two major theories regarding Baba's background, with the majority of writers supporting the Hindu background over the Islamic, while others combine both theories (that Sai Baba was first brought up by a fakir and...
