Review of Bistro 57: A Culinary Delight Worth Visiting
Bistro 57 is a charming culinary destination that has quickly earned a loyal following, and for good reason. Tucked away in a cozy corner, the restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience that combines the comforts of home with the refinement of gourmet dining. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by an inviting atmosphere, friendly service, and, most importantly, an unforgettable array of dishes that demonstrate true craftsmanship in the kitchen.
Ambience and Service: A Warm Welcome The ambiance of Bistro 57 is warm and intimate, offering a perfect balance between casual and refined. The interior is tastefully designed with a mix of contemporary art and vintage accents, creating an atmosphere that feels both stylish and comfortable. Whether you’re dining with a group, on a romantic date, or enjoying a solo meal, the space accommodates all. The lighting is soft and inviting, enhancing the overall sense of relaxation.
Service at Bistro 57 is equally noteworthy. The staff are knowledgeable, approachable, and attentive without being intrusive. They have a strong understanding of the menu and are always eager to offer recommendations based on your preferences. It’s clear that the team is passionate about providing a high-quality experience from start to finish.
Menu: A Celebration of Fresh Ingredients and Bold Flavors The real star of Bistro 57, of course, is the food. The menu is a carefully curated selection of seasonal dishes that celebrate fresh, high-quality ingredients. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between classic comfort food and innovative creations, with something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for a light bite or a more indulgent meal, the diverse offerings ensure that every palate is catered to.
Appetizers: To start, the appetizers at Bistro 57 are nothing short of delightful. One standout is the Charcuterie Board, which features a well-thought-out selection of artisanal meats, cheeses, pickles, and house-made crackers. The quality of the cured meats, such as the silky prosciutto and the robust salami, is exceptional, and the accompaniments are the perfect balance of tangy, sweet, and savory. Another excellent choice is the Roasted Beet Salad, a vibrant dish showcasing the sweetness of beets paired with creamy goat cheese, crunchy walnuts, and a tangy vinaigrette. The flavors are bright and well-balanced, offering a refreshing start to the meal.
Entrees: When it comes to the main courses, Bistro 57 truly shines. One of the most popular dishes on the menu is the Pan-Seared Scallops. The scallops are cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—and are served with a rich beurre blanc sauce that complements the delicate sweetness of the scallops beautifully. The dish is accompanied by a medley of seasonal vegetables, adding both color and texture to the plate.
For meat lovers, the Braised Short Ribs are a must-try. Slow-cooked to tender perfection, the short ribs are rich in flavor and melt in your mouth. The dish is served with mashed potatoes that are creamy and velvety, along with roasted root vegetables that add depth and earthiness. The balance of flavors in this dish is outstanding, and the portions are generous.
Another notable entrée is the Roasted Chicken, a simple yet flavorful dish that highlights the restaurant’s commitment to quality ingredients. The chicken is perfectly roasted, with crispy skin and juicy, tender meat. It is served with a side of herbed potatoes and a deliciously rich gravy. It’s the kind of comfort food that makes you feel at home while still showcasing the skill of the chef.
Vegetarian Options: Bistro 57 also offers a strong selection of vegetarian dishes that don’t feel like an afterthought. The Wild Mushroom Risotto is a standout. The rice is creamy and flavorful, with earthy mushrooms adding depth to every bite. The dish is finished with a drizzle of truffle oil that elevates the umami flavors, making it a memorable choice for...
Read moreI recently visited Bistro 57 located in Sector 7 Rohini, and while my overall experience was a mix of positives and negatives, I believe it's important to share an honest review. The bistro offers a diverse menu, and I had the opportunity to try their Peri peri delight pizza, Bharwa Paneer Tikka, Hot chocolate Sundae, and Spicy Mango drink.
Let's start with the positives. The food quality at Bistro 57 is commendable. The Peri peri delight pizza was a standout, with a delicious blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. The crust was perfectly baked, and the toppings were generous and flavorful, earning it a solid 9/10 rating. Similarly, the Bharwa Paneer Tikka had a delectable taste, although it didn't quite reach the same level as the pizza, deserving a respectable 8/10 rating
Moving on to the desserts, the Hot chocolate Sundae was a delightful treat. The portion size was more than enough for two people to share, making it a good value for money. However, I found the taste to be satisfactory rather than outstanding, warranting a 7/10 rating. Unfortunately, the Spicy Mango drink fell short of expectations, lacking the desired balance of flavors, resulting in a disappointing 5/10 rating.
Now, let's address an issue that significantly impacted my overall impression of Bistro 57. During my visit, I noticed that the bistro had incorrectly priced their water bottles. They charged Rs. 60/- for a 500ml bottle, despite the MRP being only Rs. 30/-. This practice of overcharging for basic necessities is a concerning lapse in their service. While it may seem like a small issue, it reflects poorly on the establishment's integrity. I believe it would be more acceptable for the bistro to adjust their prices for items like pizza or other menu items, rather than charging more than the MRP for...
Read moreIt's a perfect place to hang out with your friends, family and for a solo date. The food here looks good but tastes even better. So here are the dishes that I have ordered - Chinese sizzler (9/10) , must order dish as it can be enough for 2-3 people, tastes amazing . Veg thali (10/10) , it includes paneer sabzi, dal makhni, naan, rice , paneer tikka, achaari pyaaz . Totally worth it and my favourite part was achaari pyaaz it's the best plus you can get one more naan for free . Enough for 2 people . Onion rings (7/10) bit expensive but they'll give you 8 super big and crunchy well seasoned rings , but for me the cost of it doesn't justify but must try . Presentation of the food - 9/10 Taste- 9/10 Ambience- 8/10 Service - 6/10 *The staff here is genuinely polite and but the only disappointing thing is that each order takes enough time to reach your table that you can have sweet nap in meantime. I believe it is because of lack of staff but for whatever reasons it is not justified. So once you have ordered 2-3 items , they'll take their sweet time to prepare one dish at a time and serve you one dish at a time and you might have to ask the staff about your order 2-3 times so that they'll know that you're still waiting for the dishes. Other than that everything is almost perfect about this place , there's music in background, amazing food which just makes up for the long time you had to...
