I had high hopes for Sephora after knowing about the international brand and their expert staff.
This experience was the opposite.
I went in looking for foundation and concealer and was pushed into using some on my face from brands like Dior and Givenchy. When I asked if I can see something in a more budget range I was given options for slightly lower priced brand options.
When I insisted that I want to browse around I was surprised to see products that matched my needs from their home brand Sephora which were all within my price range.
Why wasn’t I shown those?
All they kept on pushing additional products like color corrector and primers on me.
The “expert” staff who was helping was far from an expert and didn’t know much.
I had a much better experience at Mac Store in another mall.
While you can go in to get things from brands like olaplex and Pixi which may not be easily available otherwise, I would say don’t go in expecting genuine help.

The staff members have been quite unwelcoming and often come across as rude. Rather than offering assistance, they tend to follow customers around the store, which feels intrusive and uncomfortable.
On one occasion, a staff member even told me to look at only those brands I intended to purchase — which was quite surprising. Exploring products is an essential part of the shopping experience, especially in a store like Sephora. Their attitude and expressions made the overall experience feel awkward and uninviting.
In contrast, I’ve had much better experiences at other beauty stores like Tira and Nykaa, where the staff is genuinely helpful and more customer-friendly. I hope Sephora works on improving their in-store service and...

I had raised a complaint regarding the exchange of my mascara, and I recently received a revert stating that it cannot be exchanged. Unfortunately, no one has contacted me directly to understand the concern.
First of all i called the same day to store within 2 hours of my purchase that the tester used on my lashes of the same product is smudgy and that the product will also give the same result. The product u sais is not seal packed because your employee only had opened it and gave it , it was not me who opened please check the camera recording of store using the timing on the invoice.
I expected better service and support from Sephora. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with no confidence in continuing to shop with your brand. This will be my last purchase from Sephora.
