Read moreThe museum is situated on Parvati Hill. You need to take a 5-6 min of stair climb on on hill to reach. To enter in museum you need to pay 20 Rs. per person. Museum has collection of old things of maratha peshwa dynasty. It includes things like lamps, rocky statues, drawings, older key locks, older coins, clothes, weapons, kitchen vessels, toys, storage utensils, some letters and articles and lot many things. Shocking thing was that they have kept real elephant's horn & feet, leopard's head, etc.. (Not sure if it's real, but they have claimed/labelled it below the things)
I think it's really a good collection. Tickets are affordable. For Newbies it's really a nice thing to happen to see this collection.
Tip: Mostly you forget or don't look at ceilings. I would say observe the lanterns, lamps on ceilings as well.
Apart from museum, you get very good city view from Parvati hills.
