Extremely Disappointed – A Night to Forget at White Lotus
I used to recommend White Lotus wholeheartedly for its ambience and food. But after last night’s experience, I genuinely regret every positive word I’ve ever said. What was once a pleasant dining place has now turned into a complete disaster.
The service was unbelievably slow, and the staff seemed completely disconnected—not just from each other but from basic customer service. Instructions were given clearly for less oil and less spice across all dishes, yet only one dish followed it, and the rest came overloaded with oil and spice. When questioned, the staff casually responded that instructions were applied only to the specific item mentioned. Is the customer expected to repeat the same instruction for every single dish on the table? That’s just careless and shows a lack of standard service protocol.
Despite hardly any tables being occupied, the staff was inattentive, the service delayed, and the food (barring the nachos) was subpar at best. We spoke to the manager expecting some sense of responsibility or at least a genuine apology—but nothing. No corrective action, no effort to salvage the experience, nothing.
This was supposed to be a special evening for us, and unfortunately, White Lotus completely ruined it. What’s worse is the complacency of the team—as if customer satisfaction is no longer a priority.
I am compelled to change my previous 5-star review to 1 star, only because there's no option to go lower.
A message to the management: You need to revisit your training, communication flow, and basic customer handling. People don’t come to a restaurant just for food—they come for the experience. And sadly, you failed...
Read moreWe visited this place on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered roasted pumpkin soup, mushroom soup, zucchini rolls, some paneer sabzi and some rotis and garlic nan. For the kids it was some fried pasta balls and Margherita pizza. The soups and the pizza were decent. Rest of the food was strictly okayish. The service was super slow which kinda tried our patience. In spite of pre ordering most of the stuff, it took extremely long to get the food. We kept on checking with the staff and were told that we would get it soon. This was for most of the dishes. The zucchini rolls were supposed to be grilled zucchini which was burned to the point of tasting bitter. They were also cold and on checking with the waiter we were informed that they're served cold only. The worst was when they got only the sabzi with no naan for the next 10 min 😞. Not sure what they expected us to eat the sabzi with. After some heated argument we were informed that they were out of stock of certain ingredients and hence the delay! They could've very well informed this when we placed the order itself. Overall a very bad experience with super slow service. Would not recommend this place to anyone for sure unless they've loads of time and willingness to wait for 20-25 min between each course for some...

Food : I tried various dishes; overall the taste was average. Worth mentioning is Baked new york cheese cake... it was really delicious and Apple walnut salad which was refreshing and delicious.
Service: I had worst service experience with this restaurant. First of all they made us wait for 20 mins even though many tables were not occupied. Finally we settled down on one table after waiting and no server came to even serve water or to take order for next 15 mins. After calling out many servers and waving hand at each and every one of them, one server came to serve water and gave menu card. Again after 10 mins of waving hands to each one of them another server came and told us "we do not serve food at this table so you have shift" After shifting table the process were repeated of waving and waiting and complaining to manager. After 45 mins or so I was successful at giving my food order. Severs have very poor knowledge of the menu | same order is taken by 2-3 people yet no-one confirms anything.
And even after so much of waiting and struggle they made mistakes in billing amount too and that to twice.
