We visited Navlakha Mahal yesterday. The visit started with a 5–10 minute movie clip, but unfortunately, due to constant crying and noise from small children, it was very difficult to watch or focus. My suggestion would be to have a separate arrangement for families with very young kids so that everyone can enjoy the experience.
Secondly, the guide seemed to be in quite a hurry. We were not given enough time to properly see, read, or understand the details. As visitors, we take out time to explore, so it would be better if guides allow people to experience the place at a comfortable pace, rather than rushing through just as a formality.

Read moreNavlakha Mahal, nestled inside the serene Gulab Bagh of Udaipur, is a beautiful example of royal Rajasthani architecture blended with cultural elegance. The palace, though lesser-known compared to Udaipur’s main attractions, offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere surrounded by greenery and historical charm. Its structure is simple yet regal, with arched corridors and traditional design elements reflecting the grandeur of the Mewar dynasty. The surrounding Gulab Bagh, filled with diverse flora and especially roses, enhances the charm of the visit. It's an ideal spot for history lovers, peaceful walks, and photography, offering a glimpse into Udaipur’s royal past without the usual tourist crowd. Overall, Navlakha Mahal is a hidden gem in Udaipur, perfect for those seeking a calm, culturally rich experience away from the hustle of commercial...
Read moreGreat efforts have been made by NavLakha Mahal Sanskritik Kendra to showcase our rich history and culture to the masses. However, in the short clip on the Indian freedom struggle, an extremely misleading piece of information was presented. Mohan Gandhi, a British collaborator, British agent who weakened the real demand for Purna Swaraj in 1930 by initiating a trivial Salt Satyagraha and undermining true revolutionary activities in Bharat, was showcased alongside genuine revolutionaries. This amounts to an insult to the real freedom fighters who sacrificed everything, including their lives, for the country. I strongly urge that this misrepresentation be immediately removed so that the souls of our true martyrs may...
