We had a really bad experience at this restaurant today. I understand the restaurant was crowded hence we had to wait for nearly 25 minutes. But even after waiting they Accomodated us at a substandard sitting area. Instead of the main restaurant they took us to the roof top where there was no AC and it was really hot and humid there. Plus the ambience was like a local dhaba, in literal terms it was like a "desi chappar". If we had to had a food at such a place with no proper sitting then why would we come to such expensive place we could have gone to some local dhaba. Photos are attached you can view that. Coming to the food, we ordered daal bati churma thali, it was below average. Firstly they served burnt baati, the photo is attached. Also the other items that came in the platter was average in taste. The thali costed us 449 INR, and they didn't even served ghee with the platter. I also observed other people sitting in the area, very disappointed. I came to the place after looking at the rating which now I feel was a fake rating. I will not recommend this place.

We had a wonderful experience at this lovely, family-friendly restaurant 🍽️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable evening 🌟🏮. The interiors reflected the rich cultural essence of Rajasthan, giving us a truly authentic dining vibe 🕌✨. While the cost of food was slightly on the higher side 💰, we felt that the quality, flavor, and overall presentation made it well worth it 🤤👌. Every dish we tried was bursting with taste, perfectly spiced, and beautifully plated, showcasing the true richness of traditional Rajasthani cuisine 🍛🥘. We were three people dining together, and each of us thoroughly enjoyed every bite, from the starters to the desserts 🍲🍨. The service was attentive, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit 🙌. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy authentic Rajasthani flavors with your loved ones, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting ❤️.

During my recent trip to Udaipur, I had the pleasure of dining at Masala Chowk for lunch. The outlet was bustling with activity, and despite the wait for about 10 minutes to get a seat on the 3rd floor, I must say—it was worth it! The ambiance on the 3rd floor added to the overall experience. We ordered Dal Tadka, Paneer Butter Masala, Jeera Rice, Tandoori Roti, and a Mix Paratha. The food was simply exceptional and easily the best meal I had during my stay in Udaipur. One thing I noticed across the city was that the food tended to lack salt—either too spicy or too sweet—but here, the balance of spices was spot on. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and satisfying. If you're in Udaipur and craving authentic Indian flavors with just the right touch of spices, Masala Chowk is a must-visit. It’s a place where the food truly makes the wait worthwhile. Highly recommended!

Visited here last week on recommendation of some cab and auto drivers after checking online reviews and let me tell you all these good reviews and recommendations are as fake as they could be!!🤬 We order some soup and manchurian for starter and were lucky to pay and leave before full course. The experience we had with starter and soups...🤮. The soups were too much watery and god knows what was that taste, the manchurian were undercooked and we were having taste of flour powder all over our mouth!! The service was meh and not to mention the skyrocketing prices of dishes (mostly because they need to pay their brand ambassadors - all auto/cab drivers)

Go at your own risk and also if you read this I suggest that you don't go to any suggestions by these local drivers like krishna dal batti or atari or 56 bhog. Another group of friends went to these places and there experience was...
