Toran Pol can be considered as the entrance to the Moti Chowk. It is also the main entrance to the City Palace. The construction of this beautiful entrance gate is done by Maharana Karan Singh.

Toran Pol has also an importance as it was used as a major entrance for the bridegroom's to the bride's house. A beautiful artifacts which is known as Toran is hanging in front. As per hindu wedding rituals or Rajputana Wedding rituals this Toran should be touched by the royal bridegroom with his sword, before entering the bride's house as it is considered auspicious.
