Not here to review the temple Just for everyone's kind information about dress code of the temple which would be absolutely necessity to follow . Please view the attached photos from the temple outside. Required complete silence Men - Allowed Shirt/ T-Shirt ( Full and half hand are ok )/ Kurta & Pyjama/ Pant and Veshti/Mundu Men Not allowed Any torn pant / shirt/ tshirt , Open upper body ( Can be covered with Mundu ) , Bad signs / Words in Shirt/ T-Shirt/ Pants , Kaili , Shorts / Boxers. Women Allowed Saree ,Chudidar ( With Thavani/dupatta) Women Not allowed Tshirt, any kind of Leggings , Capris,Tight pants ,Torn jeans / Bad signs/ Bad wordings , Chudidar without dupatta, Saree or Chudidar should be properly covered. ( Thavani/ duppata is available at temple subject to availability) Kids - Allowed Should be completely covered Not allowed Same as women and Men Infants no issues.

The temple area is not so big, and yet it was decorated beautifully ith gardens. The entire area was maintained pristinely clean. The temple looks like a Keralian house. There are restrictions about dress codes. Shorts are not allowed for males, and shorts/ tight jeans etc. are not allowed for females. My wife was wearing a kurti and leggings, and she was given a "churni"/"dupatta" at the entrance by the temple authority. (Please note: They didn't force us to wear it. They just gave it to my wife, and we abided by their rules). When we visited, prasadam was offered to devotees (at around 11 AM), but we had a very heavy breakfast and didn't want to waste food, so we didn't tke the prasadam. Overall, it is a nice temple for visit. Total time required for the visit is between 30 minutes to one hour.

Ayyappan Temple is situated at Major Saravanan Salai, Cantonment, Tiruchirappalli. It is beautiful, Simple, Clean and serene. Whoever comes to this temple will become most disciplined. For more than 4 decades this temple is very nicely maintained. The main shrine is Lord Ayyappa . There are Ganesha, Nagaraja and Bagavathi Amman shrines are there . There is a display of stones collected from important pilgrimage centres all over India. A big prayer hall is there. Every minute thing being maintained properly. Mobile phone and photography not allowed inside the temple premises. A beautiful garden is maintained inside the temple. Kudos to Ayyappa Seva Sangam. This temple is very easily accessible. Make a visit to this temple with family and feel the difference.

Iyappa swamy temple is one of the best temples at Tiruchirappalli district in Tamil Nadu. Calm and pleasant temple I had ever seen in my life. This is a private temple located near to the Tiruchirappalli high court.They are doing great things. This is the best temple I will say. So disciplined and neatly maintained. I used to visit frequently.Cell phones should be switched off before entering the temple. Traditional dresses alone are allowed. The way in which they insist will be so humble which will make us to oblige. The deity Ayyappan just look alike the same in Sabaripeedam. No artificial lighting. Just Nei deepams. It will be so pleasant to see Swami in the lighting. No dakshinas for priests. Land of silence. Nobody will...

My all time go-to place whenever I visit Trichy. The temple is one of its kind in the whole state. Perfectly maintained with uttermost care. Unique features of the temple: Clean. Pristine in every nook and corner around. Near the entrance, there's a place to wash feet, hands, face etc. Toilet, bath area available, no charges. Separate storage safe place for footwares. Green.
