Today we visited this long awaited restaurant for Lunch … Traffic was surprisingly less .. Cruised from SRGM through TV Kovil Check post , National Highways touching point , TVS Tolgate , Cantonment Othakadai turning , Sona-Mina theatre and the Hotel . Reached in 25 minutes .. திருச்சி காலி ... டிராபிக் இல்ல ..ஜாலி ...

This is a Star place .. pleasant entrance .. Their Lift system is nice ..Two parallel lifts …reached the seventh Floor easily ..

As expected there were only around 15 persons there …. Dining tables were well laid out ..

What we ordered … Veg Fried Wanton .. Starter .. To escape from routine , I ordered this .. It was okey , but not the best taste i expected … Price Rs 180 plus taxes ….

Mutter Pulao …. Routinely i am a dry rice lover ..that too Jeera rice … But today for a change went for this … though this was good , not the best puluv we recently had in Archana Annalakshmi restaurant in Srirangam … This is for Rs 180 plus taxes …

I am a Makhani lover too .. We ordered Dal Makhani … Though it was okey , it was not the best … I expected a best Makhani from this Restaurant …. Now our group members can guide me , where can we get the best Dal Makhani in town …. Does Vignesh hotel provide that … anyways completed Dal Makhani with out wastage … One plate Dal Makhni was for Rs 170 plus taxes …

Then went for one set Laccha Paratha and One set Tandoor Paratha … Both were okey to good … but may not be the best .. each paratha set costed Rs 80 each ….plus taxes …

We had ordered Mutter Panneer as a side dish … Panneer was best best Soft in texture … But I felt the masala was a bit raw … So I felt okay with it … This was for Rs 200 plus taxes …

Then we had one Kashmiri Naan ..இனிப்பு ரொட்டி ... I assure you , this is one of the best Kashmiri Naan , I ever had .. My sabash to the Chef …

overall bill Rs 1040 ....paid by Debit Card ...

So overall okey .. But not the the unmatchable taste we had yesterday in Nirmalya ….

The best part in this Hotel is the wonderful views from the 7th floor top ….

Surprisingly they have a South Indian Lunch platter for Rs 225 plus taxes …will try it on , one day …

the traffic from Hotel blossoms to SRGM was still less ...sort of Sahara .. ( just on lighter side 😀) ...could cruise in just 25...

To be honest this was the worst experience of my life with this hotel. In regards with service and safety. I have been staying in so many hotels from past so many years but have never experienced this in my career for good 7years. This is for the first time I am writing it across in the review. It was 32hrs layover and I was expecting so much better things to come across. But unfortunately everything was opposite to it. My colleague placed order for food and left for a walk around outside the hotel and she forgot to tell me about the food she order I was inside the washroom and my washroom door was not locked also the room door was not locked. In this meanwhile I was in the washroom and was listening to music while doing my job inside, telephone was ringing however I couldn't answer the call as there was not telephone inside the washroom. So, I thought of calling the reception later but when all this was happening I all of sudden hear a voice of a man in my room talking about the food my colleague ordered. I asked him to leave immediately and I came out of washroom as soon as possible to call receptionist and inform them about the incident and I wanted to speak to the duty manager asap. Duty manager came to me with such a casual behaviour and told me that nobody came inside the room whereas, I was sure that the in-room staff came in and have kept the food on the table without my concern. But nobody was concerned about my safety as a girl in this hotel. " What if I was taking a shower and was changing in the room and this man just entered the room without my concern". No staff was showing any concern in regards to their lady customers safety... I am extremely disappointed with the entire set of staff in this hotel. I will never come back to blossom just because they don't give a damn about the lady...

Chose Blossom restaurant for a change and went with family to celebrate a special occasion, Regretted the decision, quality of food right from soup to main course was awful, service was non existent to say the least, Kitchen staff would leave the prepared food, uncovered, on the sideboard and the server would take 10 minutes to come pick it up and bring to table, he would hold the open dish in his hand and talk or argue or discuss loudly with his colleagues before bringing it to us, obviously spraying the food with his saliva as he did all the talking over it. After all the hassle finally we found the dish we were served tasted nothing like what the standard preparation of it was supposed to taste.
