Kausani shawl factory is 3 kms from Kausani towards Bageshwar. They have shawls strolls and mufflers that are knit by hand machines. Their shawls range from 250-6500! They have pashminas but not very costly ones. They don’t have original pashminas but the ones with cotton mixture. Needless to say original pashminas are tooooooo costly and thus they don’t sell them here. They get sheep hair wool from Munsiyari and then it is woven by hand machines in the factory itself. They inform all their products are manufactured locally but u can find kashmiri shawls, suits and other stuff also available, it seems products are procured from various wholesale markets across North India.
