Booked this property through Goibibo in advance. Stayed here for two days in the 3 week of November. Below are the facts of this property:||Goods|1) Wonderful view of the snow peaks. View is available from all rooms and the platform in front.|2) Extremely helpful staff. Anything you need they do it with out having to tell them twice. Tea, coffee, hot water, food anything.|3) Although they do not have their own restaurant, they will get you the food from a restaurant across the street. The food is good ( Do not expect 5 star quality or variety, but they do the best they can with Indian veg food). You will not get chicken here but eggs are available.|4) I have never seen a bigger bathroom than this. The bathrooms are 2/3 the size of the room, clean and we'll kept. Hot water is available 24x7.||Not so goods:|1) we took the best rooms, super deluxe and still found them to be small. They are very small for a family of 3, so much so that you will not find space to keep your baggage. There is hardly space to walk from your bed to bathroom without bumping into your luggage.|2) The bed linens, blanket and quilt need desperate changing. They are dated and not so hygenic to be placed in a hotel room.|3) Room heater has to be hired for RS. 300 which is steep given that it is a reflector type with no blower and take an hour at least to hear the room.|3) They advertise the super deluxe rooms for some 2700 at their hotel however it should be 1500 to 1600 at best for the super deluxe rooms given the condition of the rooms.||These are the major points I could think of about my stay at the hotel. Over all the view is the high point when you are staying here. It makes you forget all other problems. Property is recommended for the travellers who are not looking for high-end hotel facilities. The Garden was apparently once a restaurant with a thatch roof and great views. The new Garden is a concrete monstrosity with a cavernous dining hall and oddly designed windows which kill half the view. In fact, children may not be able to see the beautiful views outside at all, and nor can adults for that matter, who are short. The food is good though. I ordered aloo mutter and chapatis. The vegetable with tomato gravy was delicious. The chapatis, sadly, didn't look freshly made. I fed bits of the roti to the cute resident cat, which thoroughly enjoyed it, though I didn't relish it as much. After lunch, I'd a hot cup of tea, which though small in quantity despite the price was thoroughly enjoyable. The food is a bit pricey, the bakery goods more so, and there's a GST as well.

Nestled in a stunning location, this restaurant offers a picturesque view. During our lunch visit, we relished the flavorful Paneer butter masala, dal makhni, laccha parantha, and rice. The dishes were truly delicious. However, the service was a bit slow, leaving us waiting for more food at our table. Although we wished to enjoy the terrace seating, it wasn't accessible for dining due to the mischievous monkeys causing chaos. Nonetheless, the restaurant has ample seating capacity, and the breathtaking view of the Himalayas is absolutely captivating. It is definitely recommended for those visiting Kausani. Regrettably, my hunger got the best of me, and I forgot to capture pictures of the beautiful interior. 🙈😂
