Mandir Palace — Attraction in West Bengal

We got very very bad experience in this hotel. Though We have already communicated our arrival time and booked a room after price discussion, we waited at the counter for minimum half an hour. We even got more surprised after visiting the provided room. No TV, chairs... one can't pay to stay there. Latter we got the exact same category room with the facility asked. They hiked the price just because that was a below storey room. Then after 4 hours with repeated reminders and finally a warning to leave the hotel, they provided the cable connection for TV. They gave excuse that there was a cable network problem, but they were watching TV. Also, they have given us a hotel rent bill which is just hand written.
