Navasakthi Kamakshi Amman Temple — Attraction in Zone 14 Perungudi

It is in Madipakkam Yerikarai street of Karthikeyapuram. Open till 1200 noon. It is a private temple managed by a Trust. It has Ganapathy, Lord Muruga n Amma Navasakthi Kamakshi sannidhanams. Besides they have Cow shelter also there. Flowers are available at tge entrance of tge temple.

They have a counter to sell the puja requirements like Kumkum, sandals, puja Oils, archanai items pictures etc etc. You can buy by paying cash. Maintaining well n doing pujas, homams etc. They have lot of schemes to become a members, donors for abhishega kattalai, prasadam issue etc etc.

Big statue of kamakshi amman here. The diety looks beautiful and decoration is always eye-catching. This temple has a set of prayer/prarthanai/venduthal where devotees need to follow pious rules for 9 weeks for their desires to come true. At the start of 9 weeks , initially we are asked to tie a coconut bag in the temple. The temple priests will explain this process in a better manner once you approach the.. the diety is a powerful & desire fulfilling goddess. They have cow shed where many cows and calves are there. It's the amazing temple and they offer sambhar rice as prasadham and drinking water is also available.

The temple has been in renovation work. God looks very spiritual, stunning and extraordinary. The roof look fabulous and drastically wonderful.

The temple is on the backside of the lake and one of the magnificent Amman worshipers. It was very pleasant and calm inside the temple.
