I recently had the opportunity to pray with my family at the Candi Narmada temple in Bali on the occasion of the Kuningan ceremony. It was an incredibly meaningful and memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Bali.
The temple itself is a stunning example of Balinese architecture, with intricate carvings and sculptures adorning the walls and pillars. The main prayer hall is spacious and well-lit, providing a comfortable and peaceful environment for reflection and meditation. The temple staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the ceremony and the temple's history.
The highlight of the experience for me was undoubtedly the Kuningan ceremony itself. This ceremony is held on the tenth day of the Balinese month of Kuningan and is considered one of the most important ceremonies in the Balinese calendar. It marks the end of the Galungan festival, which is a time of celebration and thanksgiving for the ancestors. The ceremony is a colorful and lively event, with traditional music, dance, and offerings.
We were fortunate enough to be able to participate in the ceremony, which involved making offerings of rice, fruit, and flowers to the ancestors, and praying for blessings and protection. It was a truly humbling and spiritual experience, and I felt a deep sense of connection to the Balinese culture and tradition.
In addition to the ceremony, the temple also offers a range of other facilities, including a traditional healing center, a library, and a gift shop. The healing center is staffed by experienced healers who offer a range of treatments, including massage and reflexology, to help promote physical and mental well-being. The library is a great resource for those interested in learning more about the history and culture of Bali, and the gift shop offers a range of traditional crafts and souvenirs.
Overall, my experience praying with my family at the Candi Narmada temple on the occasion of the Kuningan ceremony was unforgettable. The temple is a beautiful and peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city, and the opportunity to participate in a traditional ceremony was truly special. I would highly recommend visiting this temple to anyone looking for a spiritual and cultural...
#BeautifulTemple #TanahKilap #CandiNarmada #RatuNiangSakti...
