Gold Coast Apartment PIK — Attraction in Jakarta

2024 update as a tenant who has rented an apartment here for 3 years now – I still hate the management and their policies as much as I did 3 years ago lol. Every time I have to deal with anything TR and management related my blood just boils.

I just discovered this year that tenants who own or rent a 2 BR apartment are only allowed one car and one motorcycle which makes absolutely no sense to me. What if a family lived in a 2BR and needed two cars? Nope that's against policy. You can't even pay a fee to get an additional car added.

Receptionists are not allowed to receive anything at all.

I had a problem with the water in my unit a few months, the hot water was not working. Despite already paying a maintenance fee, I would have to pay an additional fee if I wanted to get someone from the apartment to check out the water problem.

The EV charger is unbelievably slow. A 5-hour charge for my car adds only 15% to my battery and is priced at 135.000. Which means 100% would cost me 900.000 which is more expensive than...

Have the potential to be a great place to stay longterm BUT unresponsive management who makes stooopid rules which they cannot explain makes me boil each day. Parking rules is bad. Internet and tv service is monopolized by 1 company is also very lousy. Getting any work done in apartment from outside worker/contractor is hell as security rules is designed to delay everything which lower any available time to do anything. Available time for contractor to work only 9 to 4, monday to friday. This is so ridiculous that price for putting wallpaper for example is higher when wallpaper kontractor know its in this apartment as compared to other place. Staffs are friendly but made into mannequins who cannot do anything from bad management. Tenants should gather and vote to oust current mangement and replace with an independent management company that has nothing to do...

Staying 1 night had a pleasant experience. we rent 3 rooms with studio type: Start from check in, the room service served very well, we were required to provide a deposit of IDR 600,000 for a total of 3 rooms and it will return when we check out Clean rooms with fragrant sheets, complete facilities available (washing machine, cooking utensils, toiletries including towels have been prepared) Swimming pool can be used 1 card / person. We can get additional access cards by contacting the receptionist. The swimming pool is very large with a beautiful view, so that during this pandemic there is no need to be afraid of being too crowded Finally, a large parking area, there is a motorbike and car park and it is clean. We can buy snacks at the family mart available at ground floor near the lobby and parking lot...
