Kapuas River Cruise — Attraction in Pontianak

This is one of the highlights must do in pontianak... n I think the best river cruise in Indonesia... cruise before sunset is highly recommended... if the weather is nice, the sunset from atop of the cruise is spectacular n the surrounding is so blue ... this cruise offers an experience to aboard a traditonal machine boat once n still roaming around the longest river in Indonesia to the upstream carrying people n cargo... the cruise goes to the bridge where you can enjoy the civilization flourished all along the riverbank such as : early settlers kampong n masjid jamik (grand mosque) n keraton once the Sultan of Pontianak ruled, the brand new river front arcade, school (Gembala Baik), Senghie harbor which used to be the main harbor for transporting goods from other islands, shopping centre, ferry (I think the only ferry still operates within a city in Indonesia), old chinese temple,...
