I found Budis number on TikTok while searching for someone more ethical to watch dolphins in a Lovina, we also added snorkeling (really recommended). We booked with Budi via Wtsap a day before our trip, everything was good and friendly. The day of the trip his brother Madi picked us up from our hotel and bring us to the boat, we tried on our fins and life jacket and off we go, they have a very beautiful home full of friendly persons and animals. When the trip started I was worried because there where 10/15 boat chasing dolphins, but Madi called a friend to ask if they were dolphins in another place more quite but that day all the group were just in one place unfortunately.. but we waited and waited, watching from the boat and we could see a lot of them!! Big pods, even with babies. But before jumping in, we still waited to have less boat around, just vibing on the boat, chatting with Madi and admiring the dolphins. After almost 1.5/2 hours finally remained just 4/5 boats and we jumped in the water.. it was awesome, Madi followed our direction to move with the pods when they were underwater, it was really special and incredibile experience!! He let us take our time, we enjoyed every moment, without rush. He was really nice and helped us in/out water, cleaning mask, telling us when it was safe to jump or to come up on the boat. After more than 30/40min swimming with them he asked us if we are happy and if we wanted to go snorkeling. For the snorkel we came back a little and then we jumped in the water, beautiful reef, full of colorful fish (and triggerfish), we’ve already did some snorkeling and diving in Bali but here we saw 1/2 kind of fish we never saw so it was really nice! After that we came back to their home/little shop, the lady kindly offer us coffee and then they gave us a little surprise gift as souvenir. We drinked the coffe, played with the puppy and cats and after he dropped us off at our hotel. I hope more people book with them because we had a really good experience, more calm, no rush, more respectful than other and they are sooo kind, gentle, professional, friendly and humble people!!! Very very happy highly recommend!!! Thank again...
Read moreI honestly don’t even know where to begin — this experience with Budi was pure magic. It was our very first time going on a dolphin watching and swimming tour, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. From the very first moment, Budi made us feel so welcome and safe. He’s not just friendly — he has a really calming, kind energy that immediately put us at ease.
And then… the dolphins! we never imagined I’d actually get to swim with them, not just once, but multiple times. They were right there in front of us, so close and so graceful. It felt like a dream — like something you see in a documentary but never think you’ll get to experience yourself. But we did, and it was all thanks to Budi.
After that, we went snorkeling, and again, Budi had thought of everything. He brought fish food so that the fish would come close, and we were completely surrounded by colors and movement. It felt like I was floating in an underwater paradise. 🐠✨
What made it all even more special was how much Budi genuinely cares. He wasn’t just doing a job — you can tell he loves sharing these moments with others, and that made it so meaningful.
Thank you so much, Budi, for turning something we was a little nervous about into one of the most beautiful experiences of our life. I’ll never forget it. If you’re ever in Bali — don’t miss the chance to go on a tour with him. Truly one of a...
Read morei was looking for a ethical way to see the dolphins, so i found a few providers that seemed like they care about the saftey of the animals and decided to go with this on since its a small familybussines. While beeing completely honest about my experience, of course they will drive into the direction of the dolphins and go very close with the boat, as soon as the dolphins are close then they will stop the engine and let you go into the water, the main difference to most companys is that he does not ,,hunt,, them with the boat and trie to keep some distance, but from an ethical view i can just say everyone need to decide by their self, the animals looked mostly undisturbed but it will probably alter their natural behaivior even thought they were more curious for the boat than scared. Also it was the way less crowded tour that stared at 9:00 so if you consider doing it, this will be very much worth it, but you need information in the beforhand to decide if this is something for you and keep in mind to do it as responsible...
