Manteghinejad Historical Mansion — Attraction in Shiraz

One of the historical-Islamic mansions of Shiraz, which has become the Museum of Islamic Arts: The manteginejad house is from the late Qajar mansion. This mansion is located in the Old City of Shiraz, in the alley adjacent to the southern side of the New Mosque on Ahmadi Avenue, near the shah Cheragh shrine. On the southern side of this mansion is a Shah neshin, which has been decorated with paintings in walls, ceiling and mirrors, which is seen in most buildings of Qajar era. There are two rooms on either side of the Shah neshin where the ceiling of one of the rooms is painted, and another room is decorated with beamed ceilings and stucco around the fireplace. Western side paintings include flowers and plants, women's faces and pictures of European style mansions. The eastern and western sides of the mansion have several rooms as well as interior sections of the building.
