Saint Mary Church — Attraction in Tabriz

This is one of the few churches in town. It is very close to the old bazaar. It was closed when I wanted to visit, so I rang the bell. A lady (the janitor I guess), answered and said that it is forbidden to visit the church. She even refused to guide how to get permission to visit the church.
