The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception,Sligo is a HOLY dwelling place of God. The divine atmosphere for praying is felt. HOLY MASS timing On Sundays are 8.30 am, 10.30 am, 12.00 am 7.00 pm. An adoration chapel is within the Cathedral. It's beautifully arranged and there were few praying in silence. I was filled with peace and joy of Christ. There is some renovation going on for this huge beautiful structure which adds to the beauty of Sligo. Yes đŻ it's the Power House of Sligo. My friend who took me to Cathedral is a regular visitor with family. He shared with me his awesome JESUS' experience. There are Holy Relic of few saints. I, being an Indian was happy to pray the intercession of St. Mother Theresa staying close to her relic. Parking facility is available including for the disabled.

While I wouldn't describe it as a turn-of-the-century gem, it certainly pleases the eye. The presbytery building with the statue of the bishop and a gabled window is very well detailed. The interiors of the church are quite dark, due to quite small windows located mostly up in the main nave. Very interesting coloured mosaic floors.

A min gustoume muito a catedral. Realmente bonita, en realidad. Ăbrense as portas solas e eso Ă© divertido pero vaia, tampouco te saca de ningĂșn apuro. Eso sĂ, entendes o por que unha vez entras. Hai unha señora en silla de rodas que te persigue por toda a catedral e da bastante mal rollo porque non podes parar de andar pa ver as cousas porque te leva por diante, supoño que serĂĄ unha tĂ©cnica pa que os turistas non enreden. Si vas cuando ta anoitecendo da bastante mal rollito que te persigan pola catedral adiante. Pero bueno, casos destes ten que haber siempre pa poder contalos

Cathédrale de l'immaculée conception de Sligo. La cathédrale affiche un style normand, et c'est la seule de ce style en Irlande. Sa tour porche est impressionnante , tout comme la grande abside dans le sanctuaire

Description
The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Elphin. It is located on Temple Street in Sligo, Ireland. The cathedral was developed by Bishop Laurence Gillooly who had been appointed Bishop of Elphin in 1858.
