Visiting the Guinness brewery in Dublin sounds like an absolute delight! Got a chance to visit this place long back in 2016 and spent nearly half a day there, immersed in the process of brewing Guinness, must have been fascinating. The knowledge gained about how this iconic beer is made surely added a rich layer of appreciation to every sip. And what a treat to have the opportunity to brew your own beer! With such a hands-on experience, it's no wonder the taste was unparalleled. And to top it all off, enjoying the lovely view of the city while indulging in this experience must have made it truly unforgettable. Cheers to a memorable and enriching adventure at the Guinness brewery!

It’s surprising that corporate monster Diageo is behind one of the better brewery bars in Dublin. Open Gate is a more than adequate spot to situate your Saturday afternoon drinking in. The concept behind Open Gate is appealing: its Guinness’ (or let’s be real here, Diageo’s) experimental brewery. Here, you’ll find all kinds of interesting beers on tap that combine familiar beer styles with out-there ingredients. Seasoned craft beer fans won’t find anything too off the wall, but for the casual beer fan there’s enough to stimulate the senses. Prices are reasonable, the music isn’t too loud, and the obnoxious tourist presence is tolerable. Open Gate comes recommended!

I recently visited the Guinness Brewery in Dublin during my trip for the FSU v Ga Tech game, and it was an unforgettable experience. Colm and Kat truly made the visit special. Their passion for the history of Guinness and their knowledge of the brewing process were evident throughout the tour. Colm’s insights into the rich legacy of Guinness, paired with Kat’s guidance during the beer sampling session, made the experience both educational and enjoyable. The brewery itself is a must-visit, but it was Colm and Kat’s dedication that elevated the experience. If you’re lucky enough to have them as your guides, you’re in for a treat. Highly recommend!

It's not located near the entrance to the Storehouse, so make sure you ask for directions when leaving the Guinness Storehouse self-guided tour! Cute hidden bar that has a massive courtyard and factory styled bar. The food was delicious and they suggest pairings with your meal - because you know #fancy. I recommend you use your free tasting on the beer flight (choose any 4 tap beers) if you've booked the special online for the Storehouse and Open Gate brewery. I got (in order from L to R) Amber weather warning ale, Brew-tea-ful Ale, Darkside IPA, and Sorachi Red Ale.

Great place to visit, from learning how Guinness is made, what it is made from, to the history of it, as well as a contemporary museum showcasing lots of Guinness content, popular adverts, and a guided tour. There is a tasting room offering free tasters, a free half pint, as well as a bar at the top with panoramic views of Dublin with the glass windows labelled showing you what landmarks can be seen. There is also a gift shop producing personalised gifts, and a restaurant. Fun for all ages.

What an awesome, magnificent experience. The building itself has something like 5 or 6 floors, all in which you get to learn something about the fabulous Guiness. You get to go wherever you want during the experience, and, if you wish, you can have food in there, and also get some souvenirs when leaving. The last floor has the Gravity Bar and the view is breathtaking. The atmosphere is good so that we can enjoy the lovely Guiness together. Something definitely worthy!
