Seán Heuston Bridge — Attraction in Dublin

Crossing the River Liffey, the Seán Heuston bridge stands between Heuston Station and Phoenix Park. It was originally built in 1828 and today is used for pedestrians and Luas traffic - cars and trucks are shifted to the downstream Frank Sherman Bridge.

When it was built, it was the King's bridge but was renamed in 1941 to honor the Irish revolutionary figure Seán Heuston.

Originalmente diseñado por George Papworth para el transporte de caballos, la primera piedra se colocó el 12 de diciembre de 1827.
