Small but fine butterfly house. You can see them very well as they fly by you or sitting on the trees and bushes. You can see all evolving steps as puppets. With luck, you can even see a butterfly getting out. But PLEASE: If you have children. Do NOT let them touch these very fragile creatures. As soon as they touch them on the wings, they will die. Teach them about butterflies without touching them! If they land on you: Be happy and just watch. Don't Touch! There is no permanent staff available to prevent that from happening. At one visit there was a family from eastern europe who had no interest and respect at all. I watched the kids destroying wings and touching several butterflies. I tried talking to the parents and to the kids. Of course the kids did not understand me.

Kleines aber feines Schmetterlingshaus. Man kann sie schön beobachten wenn sie an einem vorbeifliegen oder wie sie in den Bäumen und Büschen auf dem Ästen und Blüten sitzen. Man kann auch alle stadien der Verpuppung sehen. Mit Viel Glück sogar wie gerade ein Schmetterling schlüpft. Aber BITTE: Wenn Sie Kinder haben! Lassen Sie diese auf keinen Fall die Schmetterlinge berühren. Es sind sehr fragile Wesen. Sobald sie an den Flügeln angefasst werden, ist der Tod sicher. Klären Sie Ihre Kinder darüber auf. Wenn Sie auf einem Landen: Glücklich sein und gucken. Nicht berühren. Leider ist hier niemand vom Personal permanent anwesend. Bei einem Besuch war dort eine Familie aus Osteuropa die keinerlei Respekt hatten. Ich musste mit ansehen wie deren Kinder Flügel zerstörten und mehrere weitere Schmetterlinge an den Flügel festhielten. Ich habe versucht mit den Eltern und sogar den Kindern zu reden. Very bad. We paid 24 euros (2 adults + 2 children) for the butterfly house and gardens family ticket. The gardens are quite simple but nice. However, we came mostly for butterflies to surprise children, and what a disappointment we found. We saw no more than five butterflies (one of them was smashed in the hands of some boy). It is nice thr butterfly house is small and ok for 20 minutes. I was expecting more butterflies 🦋. It is warm and it is difficult to stay more than 20-30 minutes inside. They can have more butterflies 🦋. Good thing the butterfly house has unlimited access till 18:00 so one can go as many times as one wants.
