A very unique botanic gardens with a lot of overseas plant collections, mainly from Australia, Nee Zealand, Asia. A lot of green houses provide spaces and there is a butterfly glass house, pond and even peacocks. It worth to spend a afternoon to walk around and discovering the wonder of nature.

The weather was changing back and forth from rain to sunshine, but nevertheless, the botanic garden was worth the trip. all these different kinds of thoughtfully planted flowers, trees, bushes etc. were gorgeous and delightful.

Pleasant and relatively quiet place for a stroll. Location in Malahide Park and adjacent Avoca Cafe are an added bonus. Plants collection not as extensive as National Botanic. Grounds could benefit from more loving maintenance. A visit is recommended. Spring & Summer...
