My family and I visited Jurassic Newpark today Wednesday the 23rd August 2023. I didn't know what to expect so I went there with an open mind. On arrival we were met by two not so friendly staff on check in. The animals in the petting farm are lovely. The play area is OK but I would recommend putting softer ground around where the children play because of accidents. My daughter lets just say is different as opposed to labelling her. Hayley one of the employees was rude to my daughter and told her not to touch the display. My daughter was taken aback and became upset. Please be advised My daughter didn't touch anything she was just looking. I think your staff need to be mindful that children are not all the same. The dinosaur walk was boring. It could be more exciting. Again when it came to the bouncy house My daughter struggled with your staff as did I. I really think this should be included in the overall price. In my opinion for what's on offer is not great. The go karts are wrecked. The wheels are worped. The guy working there is too busy on his phone or over chatting to the girl in the suvengior shop. The kids are experiencing bedlam and no one there to sort it. It needs alot of attention and perhaps in the future it might be better..chatting with other parents they were not impressed either More experience staff would benefit the place as the young ones working there are preoccupied with their phones In my opinion better places to go...
Read moreWe travelled from Dublin to see the dinosaurs. My 3 kids are dinosaur mad. They area is basically a hotel play ground with the dinosaurs. They have 5 dinosaurs and we were around the park, including the fairy garden in about 20 mins. The dinosaurs themselves are very impressive. The playground is good and the kids enjoyed themselves. There are attendees at the bouncy castle and the peddle go carts. Im not sure what the guy at the peddle go carts was supposed to do. There was no que system to get onto the carts so once one kid got off the cart it was a free for all to see who got it. Once they got the cart a kid can stay on as long as they want. Fairly big q and eventually the parents started to speak with the attendee and he eventually started getting some rotation going. They had 4 carts but one kept breaking so really there was only 3. Just not well organised. There are porta loos for toilets. This decision needs to be reviewed. The weather was excellent so the porta loos were stifling and really unusable. The smell from them permeated the air at the sand pit area. There was no problem using the hotel toilets. The cost for 2 adults and 3 kids was 40 euro. This is just too expensive for what is basically a hotel playground. At a push 20 euro would be about acceptable. At 40 euro it is not value for money. Definitely do not travel any distance to it. The kids (8,6 and 5) enjoyed the day but that was primarily down to...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would… €48 I paid to go in here with my husband and kids. We got to the gate and no member of staff around.. no where to get in. Maintenance men were going in and out and no help, one actually slammed the gate in my daughters face. Finally a lady from the hotel turned up and shouted at some man for a key and we went ahead it.. no greetings, no have a nice day, no park map nothing. There was a promotion photo shoot going on and all staff and their kids were there so we couldn’t get in to see the dinosaur talk, we also waited and waited to use the big bouncy castle to be told we couldn’t it was only for the staffs children as it was a promotion day. Why open the park to the public if kids can’t use the facilities ? We flew around the park, not much in it. One of the main dinosaurs broken and to top it off the dinosaur ride at the end is “out of order”. Complete waste of money and asked for a refund to be told we could go again to which I said we are not local and will not be back again and still nothing. Complete rip off… we basically paid €50 to walk around a track and sit on a few swings and slides. Avoid it… waste of money and will be over in...
