3.5/5 Stars While the meal was certainly pleasant, it fell short of the exceptional experience one might expect from a Michelin-starred establishment. At this level, I anticipate a notable attention to detail, a flair for creativity, and a consistent elevation in quality. Though the dishes were tasty, none stood out as truly remarkable. The scallop ravioli, however, was a standout: impeccably cooked, perfectly seasoned, and a testament to culinary precision. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not exude the elevated standard associated with Michelin recognition. The cheese course, in particular, was a point of disappointment—lacking the sophistication one might hope for in such a setting. As for the ambiance, the decor was adequate but unremarkable—nothing that would leave a lasting impression or elevate the dining experience beyond the ordinary. The service, unfortunately, did not align with the expectations one might have for a Michelin-starred venue. The staff, though friendly, lacked the polish and refinement that typically accompanies such an esteemed rating. Issues ranged from simple lapses, such as not remembering which dish belonged to which guest, to more noticeable oversights like failing to present the dessert wine menu before the cheese course, or even neglecting to refill water glasses. Additionally, dirty plates were left on the table for an extended period. In summary, while the meal was enjoyable, the overall experience did not reflect the caliber typically associated with a Michelin star. There is potential here, but a more focused commitment to detail, both in the kitchen and front of house, is needed to truly distinguish this restaurant.

This was a birthday treat for me and was my first time in a Michelin starred restaurant. We were running a little late for our booking and called ahead and it was no issue. The staff were so friendly and they were very attentive. The presentation of the food was amazing, such wonderful detail and lovely flavours, we had the early bird which was three courses for 48 euro each. We found this to be reasonable for the dining experience. The starter I had was our favourite dish of the night. Oxtail croquette served in lentils. One word "beautiful". I had lamb for mains and was a little underwhelmed, I didn't like the texture of the lamb and I wasn't a fan of the beans served with the dish but that could be just personal preference. The mash on the side was divine as smooth as silk and very rich and buttery. We ordered two sides cauliflower gratin and chips. Both lovely. I had the milk chocolate tart for dessert and again a little underwhelmed. I expected a nice chocolate taste but the flavour was more a burned caramel flavour. The texture was amazing though and again as smooth as silk. I would definitely go back again and would try something different on the menu.

What can I say? This experience was one of a kind. The wine list was reasonably priced and they provided help when we asked what would pair with our meals. The homemade sourdough bread to start with warm butter was a great touch. Our lovely starters, lobster ravioli and rabbit gnocchi, were absolutely full of flavour and plated expertly. The flavours were perfectly complimented and it was one of the best starters I've had ever. For mains, we got fillet of beef and rump of lamb. Both cooked exactly how we asked and the sides were complimentary in terms of size and taste. Special shoutout to the mushroom oyster pie that came with the fillet of beef, absolutely spectacular. For desert, we had the chocolate mousse and raspberry souffle (I asked for ice cream on the side). Both were warm and freshly prepared. The mousse was exquisite while the raspberry had sharp and fresh flavours. Overall, most definitely deserving of their Michelin star and I will be returning here again before the end of the year!

I booked a table for 2 for Sunday lunch. I wanted somewhere to have a nice leisurely lunch as we we had a couple of hours to spare . We were greeted by a lovely friendly lady and brought to our table and offered tap water and menus . A fabulous bread plate arrived a few minutes later and we were advised of a special starter which was on the menu . Everything from start to finish was amazing . We never felt rushed but always got the feeling as though we were the only people in the restaurant even though it was full . Our wine was poured at the right time again not rushed and our waitress couldn’t have been more pleasant . The food was exquisite and amazing value for the price . I’ll definitely be back again soon 10/10

From the bread to the wine, everything was delicious. My first Michelin experience and Hopefully not my last. I had the scallops, seabass and the best dessert Ive ever tasted, the chocolate mousse. Ive literally been daydreaming about the caramel sauce for days. My friends all enjoyed what they ordered (the deconstructed beef pie and the the ravioli) and they also said their souffle was the best , most luxurious dessert theyve ever eaten. Though out my budget usually,as a treat, this is 100% worth it. Highly recommend a visit if youre a foodie.

What an enjoyable evening. From the moment we entered the restaurant, everything went ultra smoothly.. Service is impeccable. After an aperitif, pheasant soup with chestnuts was delicious and very savoury. My venison main wasn't perfectly cooked and our bottle of Italian red was a great match. Dessert was an apple Tarte tatin.. I had waited 5 years to visit this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Company was excellent too.. All in all, a great evening..
