Extremely expensive. Prices are like those of a top Michelin restaurant, but the food is just pretentious, expensive, and utterly bad. I ordered fish fillet which was so salty I couldn't eat it, and so was it's Friki side. It came with some creamy pink sauce that didn't match fish even if it wasn't so salty. I want ready to pay 34 EUR for a dish I couldn't eat, and seeing my friend's medium-small steak (46 EUR) I decided to return the fish and ordered humus. Can't go wrong with that, can you? Well, it was like they bought it at the supermarket, added salt, then salted it, then put some salt on it and served it. I don't know what's the thing with salt. I ate at thousands of restaurants in my life, some good, some bad and some excellent, but never have I ever left hungry because of the cook's obsession with salt. There was a constant cloud of smoke which source I couldn't identify but was there during the whole meal, although there was only one patron smoking (by the end of the cigarette a waiter kindly asked him to finish it outside). After dessert my friend grabbed the bill, so I can't be 100% sure, but by the price it looks like they charged me for both the untouched fish and the half eaten humus. If you want fancy dining in Haifa there are at least 2 excellent options: namal24 and vivino. If you want good Arab good there are a hundred good options....
Read moreNice place with mediocre service. We came at Friday afternoon to have a coffee and a desert. Order was pretty quick and waiting time also was OK since the place wasn't even half full. Strudel was OK in my opinion and the drinks too, but we didn't receive sugar, and there wasn't any on the table also. Waiter never approached to us to ask if everything was OK, instead he was dancing inside the Cafe, or chatting with other staff. We asked for a check, he never said any word when he brought it. We been waiting for about 10 minutes that someone will pick up the bill with cash, useless! We went out nobody was paying attention to us. No thanks, no goodbye!!! Seems like when you not having big meal with a big check, you'll not receive proper...
Read moreA great place to end an eventful day in Haifa. We were 4 people, 2 couples, who had a day tour in Wadi Nisnas and the german colony. We decided to stay longer to enjoy the christmas lights and atmosphere in Ben Gurion boulevard, which is the main attraction in the german colony, specially at night. As to the restaurant, we had a great service , by a young waitress, who was polite and remembered everything we've ordered without taking any written note!! The Tavule salad was great ,the other dishes were average, but nothing to complain about. The big surprise was the Strudel cake which was one of the best we had for quite some time. The christmas decoration is massive and adds to the atmosphere. All in all, an...
