Sherover Culture Center — Attraction in Jerusalem

Great location off Derek Hebron. Great views from the back of East Jerusalem. The Yes Planet Movie Theaters are located inside. The theaters are new. Tickets can be purchased online (in Hebrew) but prices are cheaper in person and they have cheaper tickets if you buy 6 or 10 ticket memberships. Seats are assigned so if you want specific seats worth ordering advance online.

The restaurants and theater are not certified Kosher because the complex is open on Shabbat. There is a kosher pizza place outside the main building. Great views from the terrace upstairs (another restaurant/bar) shares...

I think it's an amazing place. I especially was impressed by the kids playing area on the second floor. It is very well built, very safe for kids and many little rooms inside the children compound to explore. Also the few restaurants and coffee shops add value for the place. The only disadvantage is when the big screens are showing scary or violent scenes from a movie and children see that. I believe scenes that are horrific or violent can be traumatic for...
