I'm very disappointed by the experience I've had visiting this well known museum to date. Although they did not disclose it online, after walking all the way here, there is a handwritten sign saying they will reopen on the 17th and to call for group only appointments before then. Should you try to call , the phone will ring for what feels like half an hour before a very static-y line picks up in the "Visitor's center" nearby. The man I spoke to could not confirm an appointment time even next week and frankly felt like he was trying to brush us off. He said he will call back. I eagerly await his call...

This small museum now has an exhibition of toys used in Israel from the early 20th century till now. The exhibition is on the 2nd floor which is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Admission is free but operating hours are limited. Enclosed are some of the displays of this exhibit.

I went at sunset and it was amazing. There really are no words. It's a holy site and the music, the sea air and the pristine surroundings create a feeling you probably can't find anywhere else. You don't need the museum. Just walk around.
