The ancient city of Jaffa in Israel, is beautiful especially at night when the alleys of the Old City are coming to life. The colorful lights on the streets of Tel Aviv Jaffa take special effect at the evening and night hours when many bars and restaurants are filled with people from natives Israeli citizens to lots of tourists from all over the world. Weather it's the magnificent clock tower at the entrance of the old city of Jaffa or it's the lovely alleys at the flea market there is something for everyone to enjoy. One of the very famous shops of Jaffa, is the original and very tasteful Abulafia baking shop, which has already spread out with many other branches through out Israel. Jaffa is part of the Tel Aviv district and it's of course on the banks of the Mediterranean coast. In the summer it can be very hot and humidity levels can be very high, especially since the city is just off the shores, but the night brings a little break to the enormous heat of the boiling summer days and it's a perfect time to enjoy a cold beer on the streets of Jaffa.

It is one of seven clock towers in Ottoman Palestine. This one in Jaffa was constructed in 1900-1903 from outpouring of support from the diverse community of the city: Jews, Arabs, Maronites, and Armenians. The clock mechanism was made by a Jewish clock maker. The structure was a commemoration of the reigning Ottoman sultan at the time. Both the Torah and the Sultan's seal are engraved on the second floor. The tower is distinctly an Ottoman architecture. Since its construction, the clock tower has been the focal point of the city that has undergone modernization/changes over the years. Today, it is the most recognizable landmark along with the Old Citadel. Surrounding the clock tower are remarkable modern additions. There's an attractive alley housing several lovely urban murals.

A bustling area but a great spot to visit and admire. The whole area is clean and well kept and there’s so many coffee shops and cafes nearby to sit and watch the world go by. This church takes you back in history to the days when Jesus Christ carried the cross down the road of pain to the location of his crucifixion. A very powerful spiritual journey. Located in the historical part of Jaffa old city. Restaurants and shops nearby. Close to the Jaffa port and promenade. Worth a visit day and night. A melting pot for all nations, here tourists mix with us locals. A major tourist attraction point in Tel Aviv. I love the food aroma, especially on a Friday morning.

The 112 years old Jaffa Clock Tower which is one of 7 clock towers built in Israel during the Ottoman (Turkish) period. The Jaffa Clock Tower was built in the beginning of the 20th century and stands in the middle of Yefet street at the northern entrance of Jaffa, the ancient city that is now a part of the greater Tel Aviv. The clock tower was built in the center of the market square near a police station and a mosque, and gave the popular name for the square - the Clock Square. Jaffa's clock tower is an attractive a three stories tower, built of limestone with and crowned with an elegant copper roof, that contains two clocks and a bell.

tel aviv is truly a nice place to visit specially the old town for the relaxing views and chilling vibes, however this place has over priced when it comes to food, drinks, and services as it is not worth paying for. a place where you can say it’s good but not something you’d like to comeback as there’s nothing much to excite from other than the nostalgic places/history from this country has to offer. taxi is not recommended, walk as the weather is not bad at this time or use the public transportation which can save you literally 70-80%

It is one of seven clock towers built in Ottoman Palestine. The others are located in Safed, Acre, Nazareth, Haifa, Nablus. Jerusalem also had a clock tower built during the Ottoman period, but the British Field Marshal Sir Edmund Allenby, demanded its destruction as he would not see such a clear Ottoman symbol resting on the city wall of Jerusalem. This is the center of Jaffa and a must visit location. There are many shops around it and you also need to walk through the old streets around the clock tower.
