Spiaggia di San Leone — Attraction in Agrigento

I'll start off by saying that the beach is absolutely gorgeous very crystal clear blue water and rock outcroppings everywhere along with warm water and plenty of restaurants and stores along the beach , that being said the downside is that the beach was littered with a lot of garbage pretty much everywhere you looked there was some rubbish laying on the ground and I felt that that was a major downturn on my whole experience I hope that in the future they will work to clean the beach back up and restore it to its deserved beautiful state , that aside I do think it's still worthy of a visit and it's a good spot to spend a day playing...

Sono tornato a San Leone dopo tanti anni, e devo dire che la nostalgia ha un sapore agrodolce. C'è qualcosa di magico nel rivedere la spiaggia della mia giovinezza, ma al tempo stesso, non ho potuto fare a meno di notare alcuni cambiamenti che mi hanno lasciato un po' perplesso. La prima cosa che mi ha colpito, e in positivo, è stata la bellezza del mare. L'acqua è stupenda, pulita e chiara, proprio come la ricordavo. Un vero e proprio invito a tuffarsi. Nonostante il via vai di persone, la natura riesce ancora a dare il meglio di sé, offrendo uno spettacolo cromatico che ti fa dimenticare tutto il resto. È un piacere nuotare in un'acqua così trasparente e cristallina. Purtroppo, la spiaggia, pur essendo frequentata da molti turisti che portano una boccata d'aria fresca all'economia locale, non è tenuta bene. Camminando sulla sabbia, ho notato rifiuti di ogni genere sparsi un po' ovunque, e la sensazione di trascuratezza è forte. È un vero peccato vedere un luogo così bello, con un potenziale enorme, gestito in modo così superficiale. Capisco che l'afflusso di gente sia una risorsa, ma non può essere una scusa per non curare l'ambiente. Insomma, il mio ritorno a San Leone è stato un misto di emozioni. La bellezza del mare rimane innegabile, un punto di forza che fa la differenza. Tuttavia, la gestione della spiaggia lascia molto a desiderare. Spero davvero che in futuro si possa trovare un equilibrio migliore, in modo che la bellezza della natura e il turismo possano convivere nel rispetto e nella pulizia. Perché la spiaggia di San Leone, in fin dei conti, merita di essere trattata...

Vollgemüllter Strand ohne erwähnenswerte Strandbar. Der San Leone Beach bei Agrigento wäre ein 4-Sterne-Strand mit feinem, goldgelben Sand, Dünen, türkisfarbenem Wasser und vorgelagerten Felsen, die die Meeresbrandung brechen und den Strand auch für Familien mit Kindern geeignet machen. Statt dessen liegt überall Müll, teilweise in großen Haufen, neben denen sich Strandbesucher unbeeindruckt sonnen. Plastik, Papier, Glasflaschen und Scherben, ganze Sonnenschirme sowie Hundekot werden weder von den Besuchern mitgenommen, noch von der Kommune oder den Strandbarbetreibern gesammelt. Während wir am einem Sonntagnachmittag Ende Mai nach einem einigermaßen sauberen Platz suchten, rollte ein vom Wind getriebener Plastikball an uns vorbei und verschwand hinter der nächsten Düne. Weder Kinder noch Erwachsene versuchten den Ball zu einzufangen, denn die Bälle sind einfacher für wenige Euro an der nächsten Strandbedarfbude wieder zu kaufen. Den italienischen Strandbars (am Spiaggia di San Leone, bei den Scala dei Turchi, am Lido del Noto, am San Lorenzo Beach, am Strand von Giardini-Naxos bei Taormina) fehlen außerdem die Vibes, die z. B. auf Ibiza, am Stadtstrand von Valencia und an den Strandbars auf griechischen Inseln für gute Nachmittagsstimmung sorgen. Ohne Reggae, Chillout, Lounge Music...
