Bar La Vela — Restaurant in Agrigento

Worst service and overpriced. First they didn't come to the table, after I asked for the menu I got one but they couldn't speak any english. I ordered a main salad for 8 EUR and pineapples for 4 EUR... I got the small salad which was finished in 5 minutes. The service to pick up the empty dish was coming 15 minutes after I finished because they was talking and ignoring me (btw. I was the only guest). As I diceded to pay and just wanted to go I got the pineapple... 5 pieces with a soup of honey and pistachio. And at the end I had to pay also for the bread which I got to the salad and which I couldn't eat because it was like dust in my mouth... I'm sure nobody who tried this restaurant once will coming back so luckily there are...

Never went to a restaurant in my life, asked for a steak and the waiter don t even ask you how you want it cooked... that is no1. The steak is a pity steak literally... The portions are small... The ketchup and Maionaise come in small plastic pockets... same as a fast food... To me this shouldn t even be a restaurant. And to top that up it is definately not worth the money. In Italy standards should be much much higher.... this restaurant just got a location. Nothing more! Go to a restaurant somewhere inside the city or in without a top location.. Those kind of restaurants need the quality to...

Quando ti siedi in un locale, è ti propongono una drink list, il minimo che uno può chiedere, è che quelle proposte vengano preparate nel modo indicato sul menù.. Infatti, ho ordinato un daiquiry Frozen alla cameriera, è capendo che non aveva capito una beata mazza di quello che gli avevo chiesto, sono andato dal barman per correggere l'ordine. Dopo 5 minuti mi vedo arrivare un bicchiere con del ghiaccio frullato e del caffè dentro. Perplesso riporto indietro la bevanda al, cosiddetto, barman, riferendo dell'errore e chiedendo un daiquiry frozen. Dopo 5 minuti, fiducioso, vedo arrivare il cameriere con in mano un daiquiry, non frozen (per altro sbagliato), dicendomi: "ecco il suo Frozen!!" ..a quel punto ho gettato la spugna e mi sono tenuto il drink. Adesso io dico.. va bene che c'è carenza di barman competenti, va bene che c'è carenza di camerieri, lasciando perdere anche il ricettario internazionale le cui ricette devono essere riprodotte a regola d'arte. Perlomeno quello che proponete, cercate di farlo bene, no? Tutto sommato, aperitivo assolutamente da dimenticare, mai visto uno staff così impreparato, se volete bere bene, provate qualsiasi posto meno...
