We were super craving Asian food, which happens to us when we travel.in Europe for so long, so we were excited to see this place on the main street in San Leone. The place is huge with kind of a clubby garden patio in the front. First of all we sat down and were told about the all you can eat prix fix menu that we were to order off the digital tablet stick to the table with our drinks. We didn't want all you can eat so we asked if we could eat a la carte. They explained then we would have to pay for each item which of course we understand. That's what a la carte is. So the waitress did a complicated resetting of the tablet. I didn't see any prices but I ordered 2 items and sent it through by accident before Mark had a chance to order. It doesn't let you go back to ordering if you look at your basket. The only options are cancel or order. Anyway then it was Marks turn but before we had the chance for him one of the guys came over and again did a complicated resetting of the tablet. This time at least we could see prices. The food comes out really quickly. The appetizer o ordered came out twice..we only ordered one. It was the shrimp spring roll which was delicious. My shrimp udon noodles which I thought was going to be a soup was actually fried and super oily. Marks ramen was more like an instant ramen noodle rather than fresh made but the broth was nice and spicy. He also enjoyed his roll which I thought was overpriced for 4 little pieces but I guess if you mostly serve all you can eat the dishes are gonna be small. After our dishes came we were still a little hungry and wanted to add some things. Maybe we would order dessert..but the digital menu at the table was now off completely so either they were closing and wanted to lock us out (which didn't seem like that as there were still a lot of people) or thats just the way the menu works. Once you order that's it you are done. Anyway we got our Asian food fix. We didn't even take photos it was...
Read moreFirst time we got there with my husband the experience was perfect! Food was tasty, service was fast.
So we decided to come back again. Everything started nice but we didn’t get 2 positions from our order. We patiently waited for about 20 minutes and then asked for help via their tablets on the table. No one came. Then we tried it again. No result.
We asked a waiter to check and she asked to wait. We waited for about 5 more minutes. Waiter returned and checked the tablet again. Left. Returned. Asked what we didn’t get. Left. Talked with another waiter. We had to explain all over again. The second waiter left with no explanation.
We decided to leave because we’ve already been there enough time and just wanted to rest… But! Here is another problem: The cashier at the exit wanted to chat with everybody except us. I’m guessing that they’ve been discussing our situation… unfortunately there is no way to know because they discussed it not in English or Italian language.
Anyway after 10 more minutes the cashier eventually gave us check without missing items. Finally!
And I guess I wouldn’t write this review and even would return there (cause the food was good) but… My husband and I got a lot of suspicious looks from the staff (like we stole a cow from them or something) and no sorry or even goodbye from cashier.
This was extremely uncomfortable even though it was mistake made by waiters and my husband and I were both very polite and understanding.
So it may be good but customer service will make...
Read moreWe had lunch at Ginza for my daughter 16th birthday. We ordered a birthday 🎂 cake, and we spoke with the owner and specifically mentioned that it was a surprise. The moment we got in the restaurant and they asked for our reservation name, the owner or manager, the first thing he said (ho, we have a birthday cake for you). When I told him that it was a surprise and he ruined it, he found all kinds of excuses instead of apologizing. The service of the 1 waitress with white braids is disgraceful she wasn't serve she just through the plate on the table, and the worst was that she was chewing gum while serving us. The pearl of this restaurant is Alessandra, which she took care of us since the moment I made the reservation with kindness and professionalism. Thank you, Alessandra. One more observation the toilet is...
