An easy drive from the city center and plenty of free parking, day or night, this top-of-the-world location give a panoramic view of all East Cagliar, to Poetto Beach, the "stagno," where the city produces its salt, and the mountain "dip" known as The Devil's Saddle. At the top, there is a food truck with beer, ice cream, and sandwiches, open till mid-night in the summers. The park is huge (about 100 acres I'd say) with tons of activities for kids, a dozen fearless peacocks, a few lakes--full of ducks and turtles--and tall trees everywhere. Entrance is free, and at lunch time you'll have it all to yourself. The road in never closes, but most facilities in the summer are open until 8pm. Very hilly--great for jogging, not so good for...

È uno dei colli più alti di Cagliari. In cima, accessibile da percorso stradale, chiamato " la Panoramica", è possibile vedere tutta Cagliari a 360 gradi, nord, sud, est ed ovest. Si vede tutto il meraviglioso Golfo, sia la costa orientale che quella occidentale. Il parco e formato da centinaia di pini, anche secolari. Zone a prato verde, panchine, sentieri anche per passeggini per bimbi e disabili. Piccolo parco giochi elettrici per bambini e giochi, come ad esempio, altalene e scivoli per bambini. Ci sono piccoli laghetti, dove nuotano tanti animali acquatici in libertà e se ne incontrano tanti che passeggiano liberi nel parco. Ci sono punti di ristoro, bar e ristorante. Il tutto e costantemente controllato da guardie appositamente preposte. Il parco apre verso le 7 del mattino e viene chiuso verso le 23. Ma dalla Panoramica si può sempre accedere alla vetta del colle a qualsiasi ora. Penso sia uno dei luoghi più belli di Cagliari, a parte altri parchi e giardini e a parte, naturalmente il nostro meraviglioso Poetto, spiaggia e mare di Cagliari, lunga circa 13 Km. Insomma se volete farvi una bella vacanza a Cagliari ce ne per tutti i gusti. E scusate il campanilismo...ma Cagliari, la mia amata città è veramente bella, non inquinata e tranquilla. Ciao venite a visitarla, e non andate sempre nella Sardegna del nord dove vi spennano...(Costa Smeralda), certo è bellissima...ma qui al sud spiagge meravigliose sia costa orientale che occidentale.
