B&B Jukebox — Hotel in Cagliari

Many may overlook this island and the town in Cagliari. I know I would have if I did not have family here. On this trip I stayed at the Jukebox B&B. I will explain my experience from the perspective of the simple sentiment and my heritage. ||||I am not from Sardegna. My parent's were both from the North coast of Sicily. Through my travels I have observed similarities in many towns, but of course with differences. For me I have no problem going anywhere in Italy. I settle in wherever I go. It's my home away from home. ||||That being said I would invite everyone to stay at Jukebox and here is why.||The owners are two very kind and soft spoken individuals that run an apartment style B&B. For me it was very well kept. Very clean. My first time in a B&B. For me I was left with preview of not a visitor, but what one might feel like if they moved and lived there. Breakfast was in a large kitchen that was prepared and ready with utensils and place setting. Simple choices of fruit, yogurts, cookies, biscuits, sliced bread to toast with jelly, jams, and torts. Coffee, tea, water and juices. Lastly, there is a restaurant conveniently on ground level that serves excellent home made and freshly made local fare. I ate more fish on this trip then I ever had just because I had to try. You will not be disappointed. |||| For the kindness and care to their detail of the owner's I found important. Very well worth the proximity to the center of town. More discoveries on the horizon in the near future. I hope you give them a visit to see life in Sardegna in simple form. All travels require one thing. An open mind and forget that you are there to discover and not seek out what you have left at home. Step out...

My partner and I chose Jukebox B&B for our 4 night stay in Cagliari and we didn't regret it. Alessio and Stefania are absolutely brilliant hosts and they went the extra mile for us on more than one occasion. They ensured we viewed the B&B as our home from home and made sure our stay was a happy and comfortable one.||||The B&B has spacious, clean apartment-style rooms, equipped with air conditioning and large private bathrooms. Breakfast had a good selection of fruit, bread rolls, cereals, yogurt, toast, fruit juices, tea/coffee, biscuits and if you're lucky, some of Stefania's delicious homemade cake!||||The location isn't right in the centre, but is only a short and easily accessible bus journey, or a 20 minute walk if you'd prefer.||||We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Jukebox B&B again if we were to return to Cagliari. The Jukebox is situated in a quiet, picturesque place, close to Monte Urupinu, the rooms are very lightful, furnished very well.
