Statua Cristo Re, Bienno

La Statua di Cristo Re si trova sopra un colle che domina Bienno e tutta la valle circostante, è stata costruita da Timo Bortolotti nel 1930, è fatta in bronzo e rame ed è rivestita d’oro zecchino. La statua è alta 8,5 metri mentre tutto il monumento è alto circa 26 metri. Ai suoi piedi si può ammirarla e nello stesso tempo godere del bel panorama circostante ed anche visitare la chiesetta adiacente molto carina e interessante con un simpatico ristorante al piano superiore della stessa. Volendo ci si può arrivare anche in macchina ed usufruire del vicino parcheggio. Naturalmente non bisogna mancare di visitare il bel borgo di Bienno con le sue viuzze molto carine, le officine dei magli e le varie botteghe artigianali molto interessanti.
