I've been to this park as a child myself and now visited again with my kids. The park itself is fun and there are lots of water attractions for everyone. Where all the money goes is a mystery though because things look exactly the same as 20 years ago. Nothing seems to have received a fresh layer of paint since or maintained with a bit more care.
However, what bothered me the most and that's why I am only giving one star are the aquasplash photographers. Throughout the day I've watched them approach little children, gesturing to take a photo of them and showing them different poses they can do in the water and outside. After taking multiple pictures they would hand a piece of paper to them to give to their parents in order to pick up the photos at their booth. That has to be illegal or at least violate European data privacy policies! How can these photographers approach little children (3-7) on their own, take photos of them in their bathing suits in poses they suggested and have those photos on THEIR camera all without the consent or even actual PRESENCE of their parents????
I'm absolutely shocked! In times where everyone should be more aware of where their children's photos end up this should be...
Read moreLittle bit expensive, I paid over 100 euro for 3 Adults , we had a kid 90 cm tall we had to pay for him but later we found that only 100 cm kids and over they need to pay . Otherwise, you can't find a place to sit or a shuttle it was not too crowded, but they offer a seat to rent. Every seat costs 3,50 euro . The water is clean in most of the pools , except the small pools , kids pools they were little bit dirty . The atmosphere is great and fun. You can choose to play in multiple swimming games and slides, which they are plenty . The biggest pool is a wave pool, but unfortunately, they turm the waves every 1 hour for a couple of minutes . At the weekend there is a dj play some songs and let the people dance on the pool and then they turn the waves on . This small party called Waves party . The opening hours are from 10 till 18 . There is also happy hour pricing after 14 clock. One cold drink costs 4'50, which is extremely expensive, especially since the location is in the city and not that far away In the end, it is a good place that can only be better with better entry prices and...
Read moreNo value for money. Old equipment, some slides out of order. Bad paintwork, rust (even holes) in the structure where chloride poolwater drips on. Bee nests in openings of handrails. Uninsterested staff (smoking joints, watching their mobile and even oneother was too busy listening to the tour de France, rather than checking the guests). The waves in the main pool al switched on 3 times a day for 10 minutes, that's a laugh. Not enough covered areas to hide for the sun. Long waiting lines (even in July) My advice, keep your money in your pocket! This park looks and feels like it's on the last feet. No investments (just enough to keep it open) and slowly it will die. At least that's the way it looks. Good thing,...
