NOT RECOMMENDED FOR INDIANS

A nice boat tour, but not recommended for Indians as I felt. It was just morning, and we arrived at the meeting point after the pick up. It should be noted that I booked it last evening and was also offering to pay in full in addition to 10 Euros they charged as booking amount but the booking lady (agency PdG) politely suggested that I will be charged on the boat.

After reaching the pick up point, I was part of the last group that they picked up from the designated pick up point as already people were there. My name was called and I sincerely understood it as a roll call. I said yes and was back onto my phone.

The lady said, I have to pay, to which I said ofcourse. I moved ahead and shared my card and the gentleman (manager/owner in cap and spects) asked which country am I from. I said, I am from India but based in Middle East.

The gentleman said verbatim, ‘Oh I see, Indians have a bad habit of forgetting to pay’ to which I took a strong offence and politely said that he could charge me double including any booking that any Indian didn’t pay before. He didn’t charge of course and I told him that it is not right to draw stereotypes basis any race or nationality and the gentleman laughed it off, that too at the start of the tour in front of everyone.

The boat was good, the guide was good, Claudia the booker was very polite and so was Ivan. But the people managing this company should note about this man who threw a racist slur in front of everyone. This gentleman man, if not an owner, should be fired for his stereotypical views. If he is an owner, he should refrain from making such comments to tourists who are visiting their beautiful country.

I am having another group in August but will...

The marina is beautiful and on a nice day it’s probably a really nice excursion. We booked the almafi and Positano tour from a travel agency in Sorrento.

It was suppose to go from a port near Sorrento to Amalfi, Positano and then back to Sorrento. They told us and the fine print says “we may cancel due to weather… if we cancel or do not deliver as promised, you may get a full refund of the paid amount”.

We arrived at the port and loaded on the boat. The boat was packed. They handed out barf bags which confused everyone. Then the boat left and it started storming. The ocean was super rough and the boat was jumping every wave. We all went to the bottom of the boat packed in there together should to shoulder. People were puking and slipping on the wet floors. We saw one guy almost go overboard. It was the worst experience of our lives.

My hand (picture attached) is bruised from holding on so tight for 90 mins straight. There were also only 8 life vests in site for a boat of 100 people.

We got to amalfi, and was told to be back on board at 2pm. However, we said no chance and took a bus back home.

We later found out that all ferries were canceled until 6pm that day. Our boat should have never sailed. We also found out later that they were not granted access to Positano and went back to Sorrento after amalfi.

The most annoying part is the company only refunded us 40 euros instead of the full amount. Very unprofessional and sailed so they didn’t lose money and didn’t have to give a full refund.

Bottom line, double check the sea and weather...

Cooperativa ridicola, servizio inesistente.

We booked a boat trip along the coast to see positano and amalfi via the TUI rep, thinking it would be a TUI excursion, but unfortunately, it had been arranged through a third party company. Other people on the trip had been given different information about the trip, port costs and amount of people on boat. Collection from the hotel was prompt. Boat trip staff were friendly and professional. Stopped off at both Positano and Amalfi, spending 1.5hrs at each. Amalfi was lovely, had lunch and a drink, quite expensive, but very photogenic. Positano was overcrowded and very expensive, couldn't wait to get out. Boat provided snacks and drinks. Was dropped at port, only to find no transport to return us to hotel, after multiple passengers contacting reps and TUI,transport arrived 45 minutes later.

We had the most incredible day touring Capri, and it was all thanks to our amazing captain, Frank! From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel welcome, relaxed, and excited for the adventure ahead. Frank was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly fun and personable. He shared great stories about the island, took us to breathtaking spots around Capri (including some hidden gems!), and made sure we had plenty of time to swim, relax, and take in the beauty of the coastline. The boat was comfortable and well-kept, and the whole experience felt personalized and smooth from start to finish. If you're planning a trip to Capri, I can't recommend this tour—and Captain Frank—enough. It was truly the highlight of our trip!
