We booked a boat trip along the coast to see positano and amalfi via the TUI rep, thinking it would be a TUI excursion, but unfortunately, it had been arranged through a third party company. Other people on the trip had been given different information about the trip, port costs and amount of people on boat. Collection from the hotel was prompt. Boat trip staff were friendly and professional. Stopped off at both Positano and Amalfi, spending 1.5hrs at each. Amalfi was lovely, had lunch and a drink, quite expensive, but very photogenic. Positano was overcrowded and very expensive, couldn't wait to get out. Boat provided snacks and drinks. Was dropped at port, only to find no transport to return us to hotel, after multiple passengers contacting reps and TUI,transport arrived 45 minutes later.

The marina is beautiful and on a nice day it’s probably a really nice excursion. We booked the almafi and Positano tour from a travel agency in Sorrento. It was suppose to go from a port near Sorrento to Amalfi, Positano and then back to Sorrento. They told us and the fine print says “we may cancel due to weather… if we cancel or do not deliver as promised, you may get a full refund of the paid amount”. We arrived at the port and loaded on the boat. The boat was packed. They handed out barf bags which confused everyone. Then the boat left and it started storming. The ocean was super rough and the boat was jumping every wave. We all went to the bottom of the boat packed in there together should to shoulder. People were puking and slipping on the wet floors. We saw one guy almost go overboard. It was the worst experience of our lives. My hand (picture attached) is bruised from holding on so tight for 90 mins straight. There were also only 8 life vests in site for a boat of 100 people. We got to amalfi, and was told to be back on board at 2pm. However, we said no chance and took a bus back home. We later found out that all ferries were canceled until 6pm that day. Our boat should have never sailed. We also found out later that they were not granted access to Positano and went back to Sorrento after amalfi. The most annoying part is the company only refunded us 40 euros instead of the full amount. Very unprofessional and sailed so they didn’t lose money and didn’t have to give a full refund. Bottom line, double check the sea and weather before booking

Only stayed here while waiting for our bus back up to Hotel Bellavista in Massa Lubrense, but it seemed very quiet for a Thursday late evening. It was about 3pm and nothing was open just yet. It was a frequent stop for party boat tours though. They were being dropped off every 10 mins or so. Cute little port overall though. The bus took forever and, I honestly don't know if it ever came. I ended up asking a local guy where I could get a taxi and he offered to drive us up lol. Ended up throwing him 20 Euros for the help! The people around here have been incredibly nice!

We loved it! The tour was very easy going and managed by very young guys!! They were explaining all the little big things there were to see on the way to Amalfi and Positano from Sorrento. Everything was on time and once you book the boat trip, the transfer from city center to the port is included in the price. We enjoyed a lot and I suggest it!! Special positive note for the two “marinai” Francesco and Domenico, who actually also recommended some very good place where to eat and nice places to visit in Amalfi and Positano! 👍🏼🔥

Best Capri tour for the best value. 100 EUR for 6 hours on Capri included coach bus pickup at the hotel you specify. They showed us around Capri like professionals, the main hidden spots that most tourists don’t know. Lots of facts learned throughout the trip, they said that there are 10,000 visitors to Capri every day. If it wasn’t for this tour, we would be stuck at the port. Good luck finding a bus to bring you to Capri/Anacapri centre; it was busy by 9am!!!

We took a boat trip from here but bought our tickets in a shop selling trips in Sorrento. There was a wall to sit on and just relax whilst waiting to embark. A pleasant place to just to sit and enjoy on a summers day. We really enjoyed our boat trip around Capri. I loved listening to the crew with the stories about the rocks, villas etc. whilst soaking up the rays. This is a must experience if visiting Capri.
