Very poor service - avoid if possible. First of all - positives: great sunset view from the terrace ok starters The negatives: Service/ waiter: gave us a a table on the side - when asket for a front sea view table - despite there were a few and no reservations - the answer was a simple NO. when asked if the kids can share a bolognese pasta - said that portions are small and there is one portion per person; we orderer king prawn tagliatelle and bolognese, adult portions, for two kids; then surprise: each portion is more than large - do kids could have shared, but why not pay more right? ordered two entrecôtes for me and my wife+ starter to share; no question about how to cook the entrecôte - strange?! I ask for the drinks menu - he says they only have wine. No menu (they have a cellar!); I order a glass of red wine; then another person brings me a half-bottle of wine (365 ml)- they’re choice; I take it - even if I asked for a glass - but nobody gave me a menu so I don’t know how much it costs and what are my other options; later I see they have beer and cocktails… Food: starter is very good (aubergines, tomatoes, parmezan); pasta is ok - but nothing special (just big portions); Entrecôtes come: both well done (see pictures) - really disappointed.
Nobody comes to the table until we finish - then, while taking our plates, the waiter asks if everything is ok. Super hospitality! 🫥
I ask for the check. Our main waiter brings it and leaves. I stay for another ~7-8 minutes waiting to pay. We leave.
We acted nice, didn’t make any trouble and just wanted a nice evening. Not that night. Really don’t understand why.
I don’t recommend this place at all. There is much better food around. Views are similar everywhere. And for such awful service - no way! And for a 135 eur dinner its just not worth it - I felt like I’ve just thrown my money away and only got annoyed, instead of having a nice meal with my family.

Read moreWhile the view of capri is beautiful, the food was rather mediocre with a lack of flavor. While we came a little early at around 7:30 we were able to pick a good seat outside and we’re just a small family of 4. We were suggested appetizers which had we known were £18 each I’m not sure we would have gotten 4 of them, which they sort of just brought to us. They were decent but nothing to write home about- caprese should not be £18 for one tomato (at best) sliced into 4 with 2 slices of mozzarella cut in half (at best). For the main courses we had a pasta with lobster which overall was pretty good. There was also a pasta bolognese which lacked any sort of flavor and two orders of raviolis which honestly were mid. Two people from our party ordered a secondi which one was a steak and one was meatballs, it was clearly forgotten about until we reminded them considering they completely cleared our table after we finished our primi and offered us dessert. The meatballs and the steak both were lacking in flavor and the potatoes were cold. For the dessert we had a lemon sorbet, a tiramisu and lemon cake. All which were clearly store bought. We did want a chocolate mousse which they ran out of- a little surprising because it was only 8:30 and most people by now in the restaurant only had appetizers. the tiramisu came in a plastic container from the store and they couldn’t even bother to take the plastic lid off before serving it. Overall our bill totaled £293 and for this price I would recommend going to a better restaurant in sorrento. You’ll definitely get a much better quality meal. For our last meal of our Holiday this was a little disappointing. Overall a 3/10.
All that being said, our driver on the way home who I believe his name was Fausto was extremely nice and was very happy to drive us home as the shuttle was...
Read moreAfter reading the reviews we decided to visit this place. The views are absolutely stunning, we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The food was overpriced and nothing special. After we finished our started we mentioned to staff that we will go to take some photos upstairs, after 2 min our main courses were served on an empty table and therefore the food was cold. We haven’t been offered a drinks menu and been served the most expensive wine that was nothing but average quality. We have requested a traditional house wine and been served a bottle selected by the staff member. The staff was attentive but at the same time kept passing by, asking if we need anything else, we felt the pressure to finish our meal and leave while we were still drinking our “expensive” wine. Service felt too rushed even though it’s a huge restaurant with plenty of tables and there weren’t any people waiting. We were forced to finish our starter, main meal and a bottle of wine in less than 30min. We have been to Italy a few times and this was our least enjoyable experience. We just wanted to make pay and leave as the looks and attention we were getting from the staff was extremely uncomfortable. There are better places more reasonable prices where you can actually enjoy yourself, have a chat and don’t feel forced to eat and leave so quickly. Wouldn’t recommend this place, sadly only the views are making me score it 3 stars...
