Parco Lambro — Attraction in Milan

The park is full of different leaf trees, lawns, and football fields. The small river flowing through it cools down the air, making it ideal for a nice walk, or for jogging.

Apart from the usual birds it's possible to find dragonflies, frogs and geckos. Unfortunately all the cafés seemed closed and even a bit run down, and there is a significant amount of graffiti, at least in the outskirts. The park itself and its greenery are nicely tended to, though. Perhaps it's the down season. Unfortunately the visitors don't seem great about using the trash cans which is a shame.

Overall, it's a nice quiet park that I can recommend visiting if you want to just relax, take a walk, go jogging or try out the various training equipment spread across the park. It has the potential to be a great park, and I would like to visit it when the various...

The best park for running and sport in Milan! There are many runners training in the park, but it's never to crowded. One big round in the park is about 3-4km long. Roadside there are small exercise areas, for instance a pull-up bar. The best thing is, that there are also two hills, one smaller and one bigger, so you are able to do some trail running exersices there! Ci vengo ogni giorno con il cane. È un bellissimo parco, con anche una grossa area cani (attenzione comunque quando il cane è libero perché c'è una discreta fauna locale composta principalmente da nutrie, scoiattoli, topi, ricci) Non do' il punteggio massimo per vari motivi: 1 - la scarsità di fontanelle (ce ne sono davvero poche e nessuna nella parte sud ovest del parco, sono tutte oltre il fiume). 2 - una generale trascuratezza (erba spesso troppo alta e ancora molti grossi tronchi e rami a terra caduti dopo i temporali di settimane fa). 3 - a volte c'è davvero troppa pattumiera in giro lasciata da gente che fa picnic nel parco e poi non reputa necessario raccogliere avanzi e bottiglie. Attenzione per chi ha il cane perché per terra potrebbe trovare di tutto, da ossi di pollo a ben peggio cose. Detto questo, da quando hanno messo i tavoli ci vengo spesso anche per studiare ed è davvero molto piacevole. C'è anche uno skate park, l'unico della zona, e diverse aree giochi. Nella parte del parco tra il Lambro e la tangenziale hanno anche recentemente costruito un'area sport con due campi da basket, tre da calcio, uno da rugby e uno da beach volley.
