Icedream — Restaurant in Milan

Full disclosure. I always suspect that people in catering establishments who wear blue gloves don't know why. The ice cream scoop is designed to enable you to mould ice cream into a ball and squash it onto the cone without touching it. Under the new management, the servers use their fingers (gloved, of course) to push the ice cream onto the scoop - then hold out the same gloved hand to take your money. Oh dear, oh dear. The ice cream that I had was tasty enough but I will be going elsewhere in future where food is served by people with a better grip on food hygiene. Not that it will bother me, obviously, but I would be remiss if I didn't point out that they are only open 3 days a week. They took over a brilliant business and I had high hopes. There was a queue when I went, so they must be doing OK. But...

I'm not italian, so maybe I'm not the best to judge a gelato, but I've been living in Milano since 2 years ago and tried different places for gelato. So far, this one has been the best for me and my girlfriend. I can't say anything about the cones because I prefer to eat it with coppeta but the gelato...

1 stella solo per una dipendente. il gelato è sempre buono, vengo da anni, ma oggi ci sono rimasto molto male in merito all atteggiamento di una dipendente. Ho richiesto 2 gelati baby come sempre per le mie bimbe, nel negozio eravamo io e una delle mie figlie, la dipendente davanti ai clienti, mi comunica che non può farmelo perché è solo per bambini, io gli ho risposto semplicemente che mia figlia si trovava al parchetto di fronte alla gelateria, cioè, mi sono dovuto giustificare!!! assurdo! inoltre mi ha risposto in maniera molto inopportuna dicendomi"ok te lo faccio perché non ho voglia di discutere". Davvero... a mio avviso assurdo questo atteggiamento davanti a famiglie con bambini presenti, per lo più mia figlia. Inoltre, dove c è scritto che non posso prendere un gelato baby e mangiarmelo io? Peccato, perché con le altre dipendenti non è mai successo, ci siamo sempre...
