MUST READ BEFORE COMING HERE!
Navigation If you use G.Maps to go by car or by foot you'll end up in the higher part of the cliff and in the middle of the road.
That's because G.Maps doesn't know there is a pedestrian/bicycle-only tunnel that leads there.
So instead, navigate to this parking lot:
"Parcheggio Fanciulli Gianni"
and if you are with a car you must park it there and continue by foot.
Go inside the tunnel and once you exit It the beach will be on the left!
What you'll find there: -Free entrance An area you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas -Above it a restaurant/bar with reasonable prices for a beach (the Menu photos below) - good for drinks, snacks and also lunch toilets and changing rooms a "free beach" with sand, in which you can put your own beach umbrellas and blankets. Further on that beach the sand turns into pebbles (little stones) which are less comfortable to lay on (unless you have a mattress) but a towel is also ok.
In these parts you can find both shade and sun.
What to bring For the sandy part of the beach - nothing special. For the rockier part it's recommended to bring sandals or water-shoes.
That way you can either climb the rocks that lead to other, small Calas (small Rocky "beaches" or niches) or swim there and get on these rocks from the water with more comfort.
CAREFUL! in some rocks inside the water further from this beach there might be sea-urchins (round, black, spiky animals). If you go there without any shoes you might step on them and it's not pleasant... Pay attention 🙏
Also, if you have snorkeling gear or swimming goggles- it will be easier to spot as well as other small fish and shells.
An inflatable mattress, tube etc are also nice to bring as well as a beach umbrella if you want to make sure you'll have shade all the...

We stayed close to the umbrellas and we were not bothered. Toilets are also free to use (surprisingly quite clean). Come early to find a spot, since it gets quite busy in the afternoon. The view you get from the water is...
