A good example of restoration and redevelopment of an important industrial complex (old iron foundry Cobianchi). Nowadays you can still see the bearing walls of the huge bridge crane and storage hoppers for raw materials, all of which were artfully repurposed. The complex host a permanent exhibition of all the goods produced by the main factories of the Cusio territory. On occasion you can find other exhibitions, mainly of local artists. It is possible to rent up to 3 congress rooms, all of different sizes. The building is sourronded by a huge park, where nature and architecture fuse together. Children will find a recently upgraded playgrounds. At the base of the main building you can enjoy a good meal or an intalian expresso at the Forum Café. On the practical side: the complex has a pedestrian entrance and it's car-free, but at the back, near the private gym, there is a spacious parking lot entirely free, do consider leaving your car here and visit the splendid...

Entweder habe ich die Ausstellung im Inneren nicht wirklich gefunden oder die Unattraktivität des Äußeren setzt sich im Inneren des Gebäudes fort. Alles ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, fehlendes Ausstellungskonzept, kein sichtbares Orientierungssystem. Wir kamen uns vor, als ob wir wir irgendwo unbefugt eingedrungen wären. Und das Café schließt zur Kaffeezeit. Leider keine...
